Excellent price for an excellent product
I ship a lot of Balikbayan boxes to my wife and kids who are stuck in the Philippines due to Covid. I send at least one to two boxes per month. These boxes can be loaded with up to 125 pounds of toys, candy, canned food, small furniture, clothes, you name it - It's the only country in the world to have this kind of service. And it only costs about $120 to ship! The draw back is, it takes 3 or 4 months to arrive, and the local delivery guys can be pretty rough on the box between the ship and the doorstep. They try their best to "accidentally" tear open the box by handling it roughly, and I've heard sad tales of items missing from these "accidents". If a box is merely taped up, it's easy to pop open. However, by gluing the box together with my Elmer's Carpenter Glue, I've never had one "accidentally" pop open. First thing I do is glue the bottom shut, then add a layer off cardboard glued to the floor of the box. I also spread glue on a piece of cotton cloth (a strip of old T shirt) and glue it to the seam in the corner, which is also a weak link of the box, and can pop open .After filling the box will all kinds of goodies for the kids and wife (and mother in law! She loves her peppermint ticks), I glue the top down and place weights on it over night.I then glue a sheet of card board on top, and tape it up to make it look "normal" (requirement of the shipping company. This is some great glue! I've never had a failure. The only time I had an "almost" breach of a box is when I shipped one to Leyte. The local shipper worker got frustrated trying make the box pop open, and it looked almost as round as a beach ball when it arrived (from being rolled on the ground). No problem, anything fragile just is placed in the center, and surrounded by things such as clothes, chips, candy, etc. There was even a laptop computer in the middle! She had a lot of smashed candy when it arrived, but the valuable stuff in the center was unharmed. It looked like a gorilla had tossed it out of a tree, and then it rolled down a cliff! We videochatted as she opened it, and I was relieved that everything of value was unharmed. So, to sum it up, I LOVE this glue. It has served me well over the past 20 years shipping stuff to the Philippines, and now, during the Pandemic, I hav come to depend on it to ship even more stuff to my family.Just say YES to Elmer's Carpenter Glue !

The good stuff!
It is Elmer's and it upholds its legacy, and worked very well. We are refurbishing and reglueing a table and eight very burly chairs. As always Elmer's is the best, and safest bet.

Good Product. Its Lasting Properties Unknown
Elmer's Carpenter's wood glue is a good product. Am familiar with it. Wrapped it and stored it with the greatest care after using a minimal amount of it. My experience tells me that you cannot re-use it 6 months later as it has then morphed itself into a mess of turgid crap. No matter how carefully you wrapped and stored it.

Elmer's, the first and best
Elmer's glue has been around forever, before they came out with the wood glue I used to use the white glue in my woodworking. It held and was stronger than the wood, Their wood glue is stronger and holds forever. You can't go wrong with Elmer's
