This paint pour studio is great! There are a good amount of color options, and I like the different pour options as well. My son has created two so far and they're both wonderfully different. I would absolutely recommend this kit, but younger kids will definitely need more supervision!

I'm not sure I understand the nuances of abstract art, let alone postmodern art, but I can tell you that this was a fun activity to do with my girlfriend on a lovely weekend in. Be prepared to get messy though! It would be nice if the kid included a simple tarp or two, you know, the large plastic ones painters use? It was a lot of fun to discover a love of the abstract, even if I still don't "get it". Love the hanging strings too. You're not just making art, or an expression...you're making DECOR.

This kit was a lot of fun for my 9 year old... she loved it. The age range on the box said 8+ and that's about right. Beware that it is very messy (which is half the fun). The instructions say to use the box it came in to pour the paint and let dry for 48 hours. But then what?... how do you continue with the second and third item? Or do 3 at the same time with 3 kids? Or even store it for later? My suggestion is to find your own box(es) to do this in. There is enough paint to do all three items however there was only one pair of gloves included, and I've got three girls. Just some things to be aware of.

What a fun paint pour kit! Comes with all accessories and paints to do several projects. My 6 year old was able to do fairly well with supervision. The whole activity doesn't take super long to complete. Be aware the paint is messy and is difficult to remove if it gets on anything. I even bought more small canvases to use up the rest of the paint!

What a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. The 10yr old really enjoyed herself and so did I. Everything you need to use your creative skills and maybe even create a mess in the process! Be prepared with paper towels and supplies and let her have a blast!

I am unsure why I expect spin art with this set, but this is more like the paint pour trends you see on you tube.Awesome fun for my 10 year old and her bestie!

My daughter loved doing this! She's 11 and love artsy kits, this would make for a fun gift!

Overall the art set is well thought out and they do provide a box to contain the paint but with a 5 & 7 year old we did have to use several boxes and cardboard to keep the table paint free.It was fun but did require supervision and help.
