I bought a plain usb-c to hdmi previously and no image would show, on a pair of AR glasses to a device with HDMI output. Someone said try a cable with usb a powered to the hdmi and type c and now i have an image.Trying a set of AR glasses that wanted to test and trying it out on pc and needed this cable.

Comes without manual, failed to connect a trash can mac's HDMI to a USB C LG UltraFine monitor
The optics of the cable itself look like a really well-built cable that connects both HDMI, and optionally a USB A port from your computer's end to a USB C monitor like the LG UltraFine 5K monitor I tried to hook up an old "trashcan" mac pro to through this cable.Sadly that operation failed: no picture renders on the monitor, whether I also connect the USB A or not. No manual shipped with the device, just a little card suggesting you connect with their email support for help. I guess I might try that and see if they offer any additional clues or not, but thus far I guess you might have to have devices from roughly the same generation to connect with each other for this to work.I also tried a DisplayPort Mini to HDMI dongle to this cable to the USB C monitor, in case that would work any better, but no luck there, either: still no picture.

Does not work with Viture XR Lite
Not sure why reviews says they work with AR glasses, but did not work with the Viture XR Lite glasses. Will have to find something else.

Works great
Great way to connect a console or other HDMI device to your AR glasses. I ran this cable from my PS5 to my glasses and it worked great. With a 6ft length it probably won't be long enough to run from an entertainment center to a couch, but if you have a smaller area like having your console on a computer desk it's great for gaming from your chair. Or if you take your console on the road you can use it in a hotel room to connect to your glasses or a portable display. Pretty versatile cable.
