Thank you Hatsune Miku I'm strong now
The game is really fun!!! I actually bought it as a gift for someone and it was pretty enjoyable and gives a good workout. It doesn't go in stock that often but I was able to buy myself another copy! Absolutely worth it if you love Miku or vocaloid and want yo get a good workout!

Fun, and a Godsend if you're really unhealthy. UPDATED
Hi, I'm really unhealthy. I maintain good walking per day and moderate cardio but was disgusted that I kept going back to 220lbs, got to 180lbs once and slipped up over Holiday(5'10" male). This is TMI but it's important for context, by my own personal diet changes I managed to slowly get to 205.1lb but it wouldn't waver there. Felt trapped.I'm a huge Vocaloid fan, caught her concert in Atlanta and nabbed this as a fun treat like DDR. Then on the first few exercises I was drenched in sweat and hurt all over. I thought I was a wuss and there was no way I was getting a REAL workout from a funny rhythm punching game. Fast forward seven days, and I weigh myself and I'm now 203.8lb.I was shocked, I had to check over and over again, I'm on Day 10 now and I can say without any other lifestyle changes aside from adding the Standard Daily workout this game provides, I lost 1.3 pounds. That's pretty incredible, and not just that but it's getting easier, I've been able to add basic exercises and songs onto my Standard, and while I don't think this will do much for people already in shape aside from be fun, if you NEED a starting point to get your body together...This may be a fantastic fit, I'll update this with longer-term results as they come.UPDATE: December 4, 2024; 50 Days Later, I've developed lean muscle, lost about 10 pounds in fat(not accounting for what was gained in lean muscle) and above all, my stamina and endurance is far better. I've been breathing easier and have expanded to a more conventional workout adjacent to the game as well as outdoor cardio. I feel better in general and this game was the big stepping stone to working towards improving my health.I don't think this game by itself will make you lose weight or develop muscle, but it will get you started and is a great maintenance tool to make sure you never get lazy. The cardio alone is fantastic, you'll FEEL better for playing it. I still strongly recommend it!

Exactly what I expected
Game is actually kind of fun and gets me to think working out for 30 minutes or longer is fun. I get to listen tonvocaloid songs and get more movement in my day than just sitting around playing games normally which is why I wanted it. Characters in game are actually pretty nice too, weird to say I know , but they don't punish you to much for being slightly off rhythm sometimes but remind you to stretch and hydrate and go at yoyr own pace.

Finally sticking to a regular exercise routine
I feel very motivated every day now to exercise. Who wouldn't when Miku's there to cheer you along? I've been playing every day for the past 8 days now, and each day I'm finding more fun than the last as my endurance is already showing improvements. It's quite exhilarating to throw punches to the beats of popular VOCALOID hits. I love all the graphs and achievements too so I can track my progress and feel a sense of accomplishment. I am not ashamed to admit the world of good this game is doing for me right now.

A fun way to exercise with your favorite anime waifu 🩵
If you bought this or are eyeing it, you are likely into anime and likely into vocaloid. I grew up on vocaloid and have a soft spot for Miku, so when I was looking for a fitness game on Switch (after liking, but not particularly loving, Ring Fit) I was sold on the premise alone. You get to fitness box with a cute anime girl, what's to lose? The only disappointing aspects of this game so far, after a few months of regular play, are:- surprisingly small tracklist. if you are a big vocaloid fan you will be disappointed at how many classics are left out. there is a decent selection, with some must-haves like Po Pi Po and Just Be Friends, but there are a LOT of favorites that aren't in base game- again, surprisingly small outfit shop options. maybe not as interesting to some, but I love to dress up characters in games and you get a paltry 3-4 outfits per character (Miku, Luka, Rin, and Len)- some of the better in-game outfits/songs are locked behind DLC (Sakura Miku and World is Mine being the ones I am particularly gutted about) but even including DLC, there is so little actual content in this game- the trainers' voices are very stilted and after a few days of play, you will likely start to get at least a little tired of hearing the repetitive lines- the motion controls aren't perfect, and you can absolutely game the system by just shaking the joycon. there's also a lot of opportunity for missed/misread inputs, so you don't always get out of it what you put in. it can be demoralizing for some (my brother, for instance, was so put off by this that he quit after a week.)Past all of this it is a shockingly intense workout, at least for a chubby homebody who doesn't generally exercise much at all. It's not 100% what I was hoping for, but if I look past the flaws and shortcomings it's a fine way to convince myself to do something physical for 30+ minutes a day. Maybe in a few months I will get sick of this game, but for now it is still interesting/fun enough to keep me engaged at least a few times a week.Full disclosure: I can't see this making someone who is unfit into a sculpted, fit gymbro. I can't see this making someone shed tens of pounds. But if you are looking to incorporate more activity/movement into your life and aren't ready to take the leap into a gym membership or you don't have access to outdoor exercise (i.e. walks, runs, etc.) then you could certainly do worse. IMO this is a worse workout than Ring Fit overall, which left me aching in a good way after every play session, but it's still better physicality-wise than sitting on the couch playing a traditional game and it deserves marks for that.If you can get this on sale, it's worth a try. At $50, I would only recommend this if you are a Miku stan and find the vocaloid aspect of this game particularly motivating.

Very fun!
Just got the game today but has been a blast so far! I have seen other people play it before and my only issue would be there not being that many songs, still there’s a good variety! Can’t wait to continue playing the game!
