My 5 year old loved it.
My 5 year old loves Thomas the tank engine. He was so excited to finally have a talking Bruno!

Fun classic train set
Thomas is such a classic character for all train loving kids. My son enjoys this train set a lot! I like that the train is battery operated so I don’t have to moving around on my knees when playing with this train set as I usually do with the wooden ones. This is definitely a great toy for kids!

Fun for kids
This is a really nice train set albeit small. The pieces are well made and fit together easily. The train easily went around the track, though it does occasionally fall over. One thing to note is that the little plastic pieces that allow you to make the train change direction, they have to be held manually. In other words, they don't click and stay in place.

Perfect gift for your train loving toddler
My kids love trains. We have built a large brio collection over the past few years and perhaps have shunned thomas in a bit of brio snobbery. Maybe that was a mistake because this is a really fun well done set with great talking trains that the kids absolutely loved. Loved all the ramps especially. The one downside is you are getting plastic track instead of wooden track but more and more brio stuff is plastic nowadays anyways I suppose. Nice set. I recommend for thomas lovers and talking train lovers.

Thomas & Friends Toy Train Set
The media could not be loaded. This is for Thomas Lovers! We have another set of these Thomas tracks, so we thought we would get another set to expand with it. The set itself takes about 15 minutes to put together. This can be set up in two different ways. Thomas and Bruno can communicate with each other which is super cute to me and super cool to my kiddo. Since it can be connected to other sets, we are going to have a whole town soon! The reason I gave this toy 4 out of 5 stars is because the lighter blue/ gray stabilizers don’t really stay on correctly, but it doesn’t affect the fun according to my kiddo.

Super fun, Talking Thomas series track set!
This toy is a home run for any fan of Thomas and Friends! My kiddo loves this. Since he's on the older side, I mostly let him take the lead in assembling the tracks. Doing this, we found that the instructions are pretty clear. Each piece has a 2 or 3 digit alphabetic identifier, which made it fun for the kiddo to follow. (The piece connect together firmly, so if a kiddo is on the younger side and doesn't have enough upper body strength, Mom or Dad will have to take care of assembly though). The track does need to be on a firm surface. Not-so-plush, normal carpeting was fine. Because the track connectors are standardized, you can connect to other sets if you have them to make a crazy big track. Highly recommend!

We don’t talk to Bruno? No no no!
The media could not be loaded. These are talking track masters connected to the latest animated series. I had a sick 3 YO who was so delighted to hear the toys talking with each other. It brought him a lot of joy and I’m now more convinced that the interactive toys are worth the extra money. I like that this set comes with two so that you don’t have to buy each separately. (We have one interactive woody and one older-model buzz).Set up was easy and there are some improvements in quality over the old TMs. If you look at the bridge, you’ll see that the edges slope in a way that’s more sturdy. But the connectors still fit one type of TM track that we still have (not the round kind but the squarish kind).A huge advantage of these new ones vs the earliest models is that you can push the on-off button from the top rather than the bottom. That means you don’t have to place a moving train on the track and /or put it on one of those flip tracks. Also, kids tend to bed down to look at the wheels or make sure they’re putting them down correctly, causing their hair to get caught up in the wheels. These are half covered and don’t tend to do that. In general I prefer the older series to the new more cartoonish one (“all engines, go”), but the toys have improved. We have some other talking thomases and Percy, not from this series, and those do not seem to interact, unfortunately.Because there is some usability with the older series, and because the Bruno and Thomas talk to each other , I do recommend this product. There’s enough track to play with meaningfully, too.
