The band is quite tight but stretchy enough to fit. Not very easy to use, you will need to set this absolutely straight and square, while you are trimming, you will need to do this lightly without moving the band which is quite difficult.The two fading combs included are however very useful especially for cutting kids' hair. Quick and easy to use and work really well but you are limited to one set fading length.The band does work but need to manage the expectation on the result and need quite a lot of practice and time to set it right first.

Since lockdown I had to learn and have been since cutting my own hair, I'm a simple short back n sides, longer on top but with a grade using from 1-4 blending in between. By far the hardest part is the back of my head getting the lines and levels just right so I thought this would be a fantastic idea. The strap without the buckle barely fits around the head with about 1/2 an inch to spare, when the buckle is used it does not fit without being way too tight. To get around this I have been using tape as a temporary fix and measure.The combes are fantastic and very handy at helping me to achieve my beloved graded hair, I'm also about to shape a reasonable quiff. At some point I will probably try and do a flat top but until then 10/10 for the brushes 5/10 for the strap.
