First few cuts were rubbish but once I supported the laminate on the other side the cuts weren’t bad. What a time and mess saver!!

DIY or starter pro doing occasional flooring then great tool for the price.I've done lots of laminated flooring in the past , so I decided I purchase a cutter.Comparisons Cutter Fast ,clean cut , no mess. Can use it next to the jobVsChop saw , set up usually outside if not raining, fast , cut edge quality depending on the blade, dust mess everywhere needs a mask .VsHand saw Cheapest option, around £10 , Slow, lot less messy than the chop saw, will need at least few more saws as laminate blunts them quickly .Vsjig saw , wouldn't bother on straight cuts, only just quicker than handsaw but very messy .Now this model . Good Well built , easy put together in minutes . Fast neat cut. Comes packed with a small sharpening honing stone.Niggling bits , guide bar , why not make it same length as the base? need another bolt in the end . Oh my one was packed with handed grip facing the wrong way . 4.5 stars
