I have had Amazon Prime for 20 years. Of all the items I purchased, this is the best gadget I’ve ever purchased. I had an issue with a couple of orders, one with my car and another in my garage. I tried simple remedies at first using regular vinegar to get rid of the smell most of the time it worked, but this particular time it didn’t work for the car and from my garage. I searched and read reviews and decided to go with this specific model. Based on the positive reviews they had left. My car is about a year old and my sister had cooked some food and laid it down on the front seat with a tray. The liquid part of the food dripped onto the seat and down the seat to the rug in on the floor. The liquid was a mixture of cabbage and other vegetable vegetables. On a hot day, the cart would stink. I tried everything under the sun Lysol vinegar you name it I tried it. Nothing worked. My garage had somewhat of a musty smell and it’s also where we keep our litter box and we keep it clean. I put the ozone generator right up to the seat where the spill occurred and I set it for an hour. I did this twice. It worked. There’s no smell in the car right now. It’s quite neutral. I also used it in the garage and it worked there too. To explain how this works from my understanding I’ll break it down in simple terms. It’s an ozone generator which means it has three oxygen atoms. The third oxygen atom is unstable and wants to cling to things, and it will cling to organic matter thus becoming O2. All odors are of organic matter and that’s why this device works so well to break up the organic matter with that oxygen atom. It is best to seal the room or space that you’re working in. The manual says that if you do breathe in the air in the room after you use it, it can’t irritate your respiratory tract. It didn’t seem to bother me that much. When you use it, you have to make sure pets and people are not in the room and afterward, you wanna make sure you adequately air out the area by opening windows and making sure air circulating. The smell that’s left over is somewhat unique almost like a dentist's office smell smells clean or a doctor's office sort of like that smell if I could best describe it. I’ve lent it to my brother and my sister, and they love it. If you have a space or room where you need to get rid of a smell, this is the item to get in my opinion.

I cannot love this thing enough. We have pets. And sometimes stinky ones. We used this in different rooms and in our cars and it works wonders. One car dat for 4 years and was invaded with field mice. We opened the car up and turned this machine on and in 15 minutes it was back to smelling fresh. Please follow the instructions to a "T"!!!

I want to start by saying, I was way skeptical about this little box being able to remove the smoke odor from my rental unit. I am pleasantly surprised though. I did have to run it twice, but it went from smelling like an ash tray to a normal smelling room/house. Glad I found this unit.

After a badly sealed windshield job by Satellite, rain was leaking inside my SUV along aside extra high humidity levels- so my SUV started growing mold and mildew (I do live in FL where it rains every day). Looking back I think the mold in my car was affecting my health, in a search for answers I came across that an ozone machine will kill mold spores. At this point I could see mold & mildew on my upholstered roof and my car reeked, I suspected it was in the vents too. I read so much about ozone, and how ozone is bad for human consumption (obvs) but also could hurt your car if you over do it. I read a similar review here where a guy did it for 2hrs....... I would NOT do that. I have big SUV w/ leather seats and I needed to salvage the damage fast. 1) Replace your cabin air filter 2) Take everything out of your car AND I MEAN EVERYTHING. Allegedly ozone can interact with plastic and other materials so I mean I took out the rubber floor matts, cup holders, decor of any kind. 3) I personally ran this generator for 30 minutes w/ the re-circulating air ON- followed by a 30 minute air out. I repeated that once more the next day. Now, let tell you these other reviews lied, my car REEKED like ozone for a week after, no more mold smell but the ozone was giving me a migraine. I am not entirely sure it was safe for me to drive like that but I had no option. Lastly, after my two ozone treatments, I had my car detailed a couple days later because I read that was a good idea post ozone treatment to really wipe out any mold spores and it should have helped to get the ozone smell out of the carpets. I'm 2 weeks post all of this mess and as I said no more mold smell and finally no more ozone smell but looking back I would have maybe just done the 30 minute ozone treatment just once. If you have kids, be prepared to not be able to put them in that car until the ozone smell is gone. I had to ride around the highway with all the windows down and the sunroof open to air the smell out... in the FL heat.... Key note: after my 2 ozone treatments I replaced the cabin air filter again the same day my car was detailed and I think that made a huge difference. I hope my risk taking helps some of y'all in this situation. Again, not sure how some other people ran this in their car for hours, I swear my car would have melted. Just during the air out I could smell the ozone standing 30ft away from my car in my driveway. Happy mold killing.

I have no idea how this thing works but it works. It leaves behind a little bit of a funky smell which is hard to describe. Maybe it smells a little like dry plastic. But that smell eventually goes away after a few hours. My roommate is very sensitive to certain odors and so I have to constantly use this thing to get rid of smells from the kitchen every time I cook. And boy does this thing do it's magic. I usually set it at 30-60 minutes and it gets rid of all the odors from Indian food, fried foods, oils, etc.

Dude I love this thing. We have a really old window AC in our apartment and occasionally it gets a weird funk in the air and this little machine makes the whole apartment smell so fresh. It vaguely smells like a rainstorm afterwards somehow
