These capsules are large and I have trouble swallowing any kind of pill. So I just put one in my mouth - bite it open - suck everything out - and spit out the hard cover. Makes these capsules easy to take.

I was looking for an easy to take calcium supplement and this fit the bill - It's a capsule, so easy to swallow, has no taste, didn't cause any upset stomach, no odor. Nature's Bounty is a well known brand with minimal added ingredients that I feel comfortable taking and feel I got a really good supplement for the cost. Will be ordering more soon.

These pills are huge. I like it’s a calcium mg combo; but wish pills were smaller

I ordered this here as it’s even cheaper than in the stores. Plus you get 2 bottles for about the same price as you would for 1 brand name at the stores. They don’t have a taste that I notice, but then again they don’t stay in my mouth very long. They’re super easy to swallow as they’re not too big, have a coating on them to swallow easier. I haven’t noticed any smell emanating from them at all and the quality is the same as name brand calcium. If you’ve gotta take calcium on a regular basis I do recommend these.

I've been taking these daily for a year or two. Most days of the week I take one capsule (half the recommended dose), and on 1 to 3 days per week I take the full dose (2 capsules). I've always taken them with breakfast so I don't know if they would make me nauseous on an empty stomach like some people have experienced. I'm in my 50s and menopausal, and noticed my nails are a lot stronger! I've read research is inconclusive as to if calcium helps your nails (and hair), but for me it's definitely helped. Also I don't have any trouble swallowing these. The gelatin/glycerin coating is nice and smooth when taken with water, or any other liquid. Yes they're bigger than many other types of pills, but that's typical for a lot of supplements.On a side note - these pills used to be white. My latest order arrived and they're now orange. A small label on the bottle says new color but same formula, so I hope they work the same as always. Personally I find the new color a little off-putting. When I think "calcium" I think white, definitely not traffic cone orange.

As advertised, but huge in size. Not sure the large size is necessary.

I don't typically write reviews but felt I should share with fellow dysphagia suffers. Do not be put off by this brand's humongous size! I have discovered that by holding regular sized capsules in my mouth and allowing them to begin to dissolve and soften that I could then swallow them. This capsule dissolved very quickly and I was able to begin to swallow the liquid contents and even chew and swallow what remained of the gelatin capsules. It was not at all unpleasant tasting either. The price for this calcium supplement was also the best I found. It also included the vitamin D dosage that my doctor had advised I should take as well as the calcium, so that saved me the added cost of an additional supplement!
