Saved My Butt Several Times
These things make you practically immune to slipping on ice. Extremely good value and function for the price (not to mention saved medical bills from slipping on ice)

Great values
First, they work and fit my boots. I’m a size 11.5. Boots are Salomon Quest . Second, not very expensive. It’s kinda silly to spend anymore for hiking spikes. These are not crampons. If you need crampons, don’t even think about these.UPDATE: OK, after wearing these for a week and hiking on snow, ice, and rocks, I tried to beat them up to see if they would fail. Maybe the chain would break of bend, maybe the spikes would fold over maybe the silicone would rip. Well, I am happy to say none of those things have happened. Still think these are a great value.

Aggressive
I had to return these because they are too aggressive for my needs. They will damage flooring of course, but they also grab the ice and cause me to stumble a few times

Fit great. Easy to put on & off.
Fit great. Easy to put on hiking boots. Exactly what we needed for hiking the rocket mountain trail in snow. Glad we had them.

Great for tough weather
I got these so that when the next ice storm hits I am actually able to walk outside without slipping and sliding around. They are sturdy, fit well and are made of durable material giving me traction in even the toughest weather and terrain. Definitely a great solution for me and my ability to travel in our crazy winter weather.

Confidence on the Ice!
I go for hikes in high elevations, and often walk up steep, icy paths. In the last couple of years, I started wearing crampons, and they have been a great improvement. I have tried numerous brands, with varying luck. There are two weak points, I've discovered -- the chains connecting the spikes often snap when stepping on stones, and the rubber often does not stretch and hold over the front of all my boots. I tried this pair from BOOTOP PIN, and they are very good so far.The rubber straps are nice and thick. They fit all of my shoes very well. I've used these on hiking shoes, on days when there's not much snow but lots of ice. I've also used them on my bulkier boots, on snowy days. Either way, the rubber stretches, and holds, for long hikes. The spikes are strong. I can absolutely walk right up icy inclines with total confidence. No slipping at all. I've walked on angled surfaces, with each foot aiming differently, and I don't slip. The chains between the spikes seem a little better than my previous crampons, so I'm hoping they last longer. I've already used these to walk on rocky paths, and the chains show no signs of breaking. These crampons have a couple of additional spikes on the front of the toes. I don't yet see that these are necessary for most situations. Often, I use crampons when hiking with friends and our dogs, so I need to be careful not to let the front-facing spikes hit any dogs' feet! These are very effective crampons -- strong rubber straps, with great spikes. They make hiking on the ice a fun experience, without the risk of slipping. I recommend them.

Decent value for introductory crampons
These crampons will fit most large-sized shoes. I wear a 12.5 and ordered the XL. They also fit my size 13 boots, so they will stretch out to fit larger. A few weeks ago, the PNW was hit with one of its worst ice storms in a long time. There was a sheet of ice on the sidewalks, driveways, and streets for what seemed like months, but it was only for four or five days. Within that time, we heard many neighbors and children slipping on the ice while just walking their dogs or getting the mail. I ventured out a few times but could barely get around due to the ice. A neighbor across the street suggested that everyone use some crampons and used them when there is ice on the ground. I ordered these shortly after. As with anything, you can spend a fortune on some quality crampons or a little on some "run-of-the-mill" pairs. These would fall under "run of the mill," but for only $20, I'd say that's OK. I won't be hiking or climbing Mt. Everest with these, so I didn't want to go all out in price. These will work for the few times I'll need them every other year. When I unpacked these, I immediately knew they needed to be top-of-the-line by the materials used. The "stainless steel" doesn't look or feel like steel. They remind me of those toy handcuffs we'd play with as a kid while playing cops and robbers. These don't use plastic, but it feels like a softer-than-average hybrid stainless steel. I don't know how long these will last out on the ice, but they are not as dangerous as they could be in regards to slicing through a child's fingers on accident. All in all, these are great if you only use them sparingly. But if you're planning on climbing a mountain or using them for hiking, I'd go for something more expensive and of higher quality.
