They work well!
Not only are they cute, they actually work well and look to last a long time. All the pens pencils and highlighters have great ink and they don't seem "cheap".

I didn’t realize that the pens were all black ink, but I love how they write. I also love that the pencils have erasers hidden under the little caps at the end.
