4 Stars worth of slip 'n sliding fun!!
I don't if it's my inner Star Searching '80s fitness freak or that this thing really is the best workout tool,.... but I do know that it IS a lot of fun!Pretty decent little slide exercise pad. Only takes a few minutes of goofing around on it to feel it. You got some strange place muscles that are gonna get worked!Comes with two pairs of slipper booties. Not sure if that's in case one wears out or just because people don't like to share (when was the last time you shared your bare foot shoes - we're funny about our feet that way). And a handy dandy travel storage bag so you can take this on the go with you anywhere!I don't know. Have some fun! Get creative. Practice your Micheal Jackson moon-walk or play ninja. doesn't matter what you choose to do, just do it! Uh-oh,.... now Nike's gonna come knocking on my door for royalties ;-)Have fun & enjoy a little slip 'n sliding fitness!!

Works great, booties may be too small for large feet
Whoa, this is not at all as easy as it looks. It takes quite a bit of energy to get from one side to the other. And that's a good thing because that means big calorie burns. But it will take practice to get good at.The surface is nice and slick once you put on the included booties that go over your shoes. Now I have size eleven and half feet and the booties fit almost snug over my shoes. So I'm guessing they'll fit mens size 12 and maybe size 13. But above that you'd need to find a source for larger booties. The booties are the thing you'll be replacing anyway as they wear down. The do include two pair.It seems made well so I'm hoping it holds up for awhile.

Not very slippery
I have spent several weeks trying to get used to this slide board. I am getting the hang of it, but I think the reasons for the slow adoption rate have been:* Not as slippery as I need to slide back and forth easily* Excess material so board does not stay flat* End stops are not weighted* I am 5'7" and wear a size 10 women's shoe. The booties are rather big and I tripped on the excess material for some of the exercises I tried.I found if I really pushed off the end stop with my foot, I could get about three fourths of the way across the mat then had to move myself the rest of the way to the opposite end stop. It looks like many slide boards are the same length as this one, so it's not because it's too long, but a shorter distance would make it easier for me to use.For the price, this slide board is usable, but people who have tried it said they have used others that work better (but cost a lot more). Might serve best as an intro slide board.

very slick
I got this because my PT says I need to work my hip abductors and this side-to-side motion is one exercise that can help with that. This board is very slick and does a great job letting me slide back and forth as intended. The only problem I had was that there is no way to weight the ends down and so the whole thing traveled around a bit and I had to keep stopping to put it back where it was supposed to be. It also had a tendency to (bunch? bubble? wrinkle?) in the middle during use, for the same reason, although it didn't detract from the functionality all that much. It would have been nice if the ends were designed in such a way that I could still push off of them, but I could also put a weight plate or something on them to keep them from moving around. Aside from that, it did work very well.
