Spot on. Fitted perfectly and made the door locking easy to use once more. Easy to fit and of good quality. Very well priced.

This fitted our 30+ yr old front door when its handle gearbox jammed in the shut position. Forcing the handle down allowed the door to open (but not lock or latch properly) so I could access the mechanism. YMMV.This fitted but the slot in the door strip had to be filed wider as the mortice bolt in this replacement is slightly wider than the original. I had to temporarily fit the lock cylinder to release the bolt in the gearbox.I also needed a square section screwdriver bit to separate and reattach the gearbox from the door strip and had to rotate the cam shaped rollers on the door strip to adjust the fit once the lock was fitted.In a perfect world this would have fitted immediately - but it wasn’t too much trouble particularly considering how old the door is.Delivery early next day after ordering via Amazon was excellent.

Delivered on time and is working fine. It was easy to fit as replacement door lock.

This was really easy to unlock, and considering I've never done it before, it was surprisingly quick to do. It was the exact size I needed, correctly advertised, and fit well. Highly recommend!

Locking mechanism started playing up after 4 days.gets stuck and can't open the door

I don't honestly know what would make a good lock and what would make a bad one, I just know I needed one quickly when mine broke and this arrived next day, lined up perfectly and works just as you'd expect it to. You'll probably need a Torx bit to remove the old lock/gearbox and a regular philips screwdriver but it's not a difficult job and there are lots of guides online to help you save yourself £100+ from having a tradesman do it Check the "PZ" and "BS" settings then check them again to be sure. Seems like a great price.
