Fun to play, nice clear tone.
These are simply really fun to play, and good for kids or for adults who are still kids are heart. The sound is clear, with well-pitched ringing. Bright tone and really clean sound. Plus, they're easy to play. You won't need much force; just a light tap of the button on top is enough to produce a really satisfying ring. For durability reasons, I do wish the button and button hinges were metal instead of plastic. They're well-constructed enough that I look forward to plenty of use before they start to show their age, but the hinges are the most vulnerable part of the design. The quality is appropriate for the price, I just want them to last forever because they're so cute, LOL.The box isn’t anything special visually, but I do really appreciate being able to store the bells upright and separated like this so that I can play them without taking them out of the box. That option is very handy for me, because it allows me to simply play them for just a few minutes a few times a week and not always have to unload and set them up the way I would for a sustained practice session. The colors look great in person! Such a cheerful and fun set of objects.

Fun toy bells
I got these bells because I love collecting things that make interesting sounds. These bells are fun to play around with and are reasonably well-tuned. I checked each bell with a tuner and some are a tiny bit flat and some are a tiny bit sharp and some are perfectly in tune. Overall that doesn't matter because these are toys and not professional musical instruments. Also, the non-bell parts are made of plastic so the durability might come into question, but again, since they are toys that is to be expected. Just don't let kids throw them around or bash the buttons too hard and they should last a while.

These sound great, will be great for younger students
I have several sets of colored handbells at school for my general Music classes, and unfortunately some students cannot stop mistreating them, so a few have the spring with the striking ball stretched out past the point of no return. These have NO springs, rather the striker is activated by a button on the top of the bell. These should be a great alternative for my students still working on self control, that will still allow them to keep making music with their peers AND allow me to protect our instruments for years of use. They sound really great and it's easy to make a pleasing sound with them. These might also be a good choice for children who struggle to grasp traditional handbells with handles. You get a diatonic C major scale and the colors match up to boomwhackers colors, with the exception that high C is white and not red like the low one.
