Cotopaxi Allpa 50L Duffel Bag Tamarindo/Abyss

Love the quality of this and the waterproofneas of it for camping and other adventures. This is the second one I’ve bought!

Love this bag. Its got multiple zipper areas, different sizes of zipped areas, which I like. The padded shoulder straps worked well, for the weight I had in the bag. Its not going to be as comfortable as a book sack, but its great for walking in an airport, standing in line, etc.

The snaps on the handle strap already broke and it’s only been used 2-3 times. Very expensive bag for something like that to be broken already.

Would buy another brand. It's awkward how the backpack straps are under the dufel strap (for example the Patagonia bags are the other way around which makes sense). Snap also broke after one use and I've tried to contact the company and cannot find anyone to talk to. I submitted a warranty claim and haven't heard either.

It's a very attractive bag with lots of room. Haven't used it enough to comment on its sturdiness. It's a bit difficult to attach/detach the straps -- would have been better with a clip-in system. Of note to those considering it as a carry-on: the product description here says the length is 23", but when I measured mine it came out to just 20.5", which is just fine for carry-on.

Gave this to my wife and we used it on a trip. We haven’t been rough on the bag and have been careful with it but the stitching on the zipper came undone. Luckily, it was on the outside stitch so I can still close it. Material is nice and very spacious. A little uncomfortable if packed fully but otherwise okay. I just have second thoughts on longevity
