If you carry and expensive knife, this makes a great beater knife. Construction is solid, but no frills in that it's not a beauty queen. 154CM is all you need, flipper action is reliable; either push button or light switch works well. It's a button lock so it closes almost drop shut - I don't use any lube so yours may close better. Nice blade shape, size makes it legal to pocket carry almost everywhere. I like the exposed liners and how they incorporated the lanyard hole into the backspacer. The Micarta has a used-look finish that I like. Has good ergonomics and no hot spots noted. I have extra large hands and can get a four finger grip on it.. The jimping is effective and doesn't wear out your skin.I've been carrying this knife for six months and I highly recommend it.My only criticism is that it isn't available in other colors!

I'm continuously impressed with Kizer, the Assassin in no exception. Overall size is perfect foe EDC, right in that goldilocks area. Acceptably sharp out of the box, I'll touch it up to get hair popping sharp. I love the carbon fiber texturing, and there's a good amount of jimping on the blade spine. The only small detractor is the "boing" of the button lock popping into position when opened. It's somewhat comical but if you depress the button and flick it doesn't happen. Overall I like it, solid for the price.

I have over 5,000 in knives mostly fixed blades as I have been a outdoors type bowfishing champion for years though I am sick now I have a good bit of pocket knives and I have tried all types now these are 3 types 2 different types of Axis lock and a Kizer slip joint with micarta a older sog duel slider axis lock its not real old but anyway there all 3 inch rough length blades and I imagine most understand what first impressions with a product is mine I chose this in this size because I love the texture of the micarta and the colors I hate the texture and colors of the Kizer pinch left knife handle! It's like way to thick fiber cloth and is a 80s wicker garden hat look it's an awesome blade though I have to say I rarely ever write reviews but I'm writing more I had to on this its first impressions were simply beautiful and amazing the blades an excellent design for any use the steel polished pommel or bottom is rare incredibly high end appearance and the quality is simply great it's honestly 1 of the best I've seen and 3 Kizer all are great for what they are!! I'm going to say I'm 34 I studied metallurgy and tested many knives in field I am sick now but still lucky enough to be healthy ish and if you're considering it buy it ! It will probably be your edc knife im truly considering the bigger one Kizer Assassin xl it's not as beautiful as this ones micarta but I honestly think these are excellent and on par with 200 dollar knives even 300 dollar knives I have in folding and or mini small fixed blades there truly is no way to say it so you will understand besides I hesitated bout different ones and finally tried it my hesitation is partly because civivi and some kizer are very plain I am a big sog fan but when I opened this I was just very impressed it wasn't as good as I imagined but much better seemingly but it's still not been tested heavily but im pretty smart and I have analyst mentality and it is definitely seems strong by design bur if I t fails me I'll update if not !! Get it you will likely be surprised even if you build it up from my analysis of this stunning and great utility capabilities by design !!

My first Kizer. Very happy with this knife. Built very well and sharp out of the box. Feels very high end. Best feature of the knife is the simple and fluid opening action. I definitely recommend, great feel in the hand and a perfect size for EDC.One BIG item to note, if you have larger hands, be CAREFUL with the outside mounted release button. For years I have carried liner lock knives. This is my first with the outside release. A few days back, I went to stab at a section of bark on a tree and my hand releases the blade. Long story short, I met the ER team on vacation. Bit me really good.Great knife, just be careful using it. Going to give a liner lock Kizer a try.

I purchased the yellow visualized frag PEI Scale Assassin from Amazon and was not disappointed. It is super light, and extremely sharp out of the box. The packaging was fun and well done. No flaws or misalignment. The action is fast and snappy. I highly recommend this knife.

It's ok, it was sharp out of the box but not as sharp as the civivi dogma. I like the push button lock and it works well. My biggest issue is that the blade skrew has came lose a couple times already and that's a issue I haven't had with civivi. The 154cm is ok if you don't mind sharping a couple times a week after light use. Heavy use your going to want to sharpen daily. For 70$ I would not recommend buying this knife.
