Sticky but not over powering. Love how it helps get a tousled look.

I was once told by my barber that she sometimes has to resharpen her scissors after cutting my hair. Each hair is thick, and there are a lot of them, and they all want to stick straight out from my head. Technically, I didn't need a helmet when I played football, but I wore one just for the sake of form.The main purpose of a pomade is to make my hair bend over and look relatively normal for a whole day. I use Layrite Superhold, which is just short of Elmers Glue its ability to hold hair in place when used in large volumes. Unfortunately this Briogeo stuff doesn't do the job for me at all. It smells nice, maybe is healthier for my locks, didn't get tested on animals, etc., but it just can't lock my rowdy hair in place.I think it would work fine for someone with normal hair, and I think it would be great for people with fine hair who are looking for some extra volume. But I have ultra-thick hair and I am looking for the opposite of volume (and frizz--which this stuff claims to control--is certainly not an issue for me). Still, seems like good stuff for the right user.

the seal came broken and the product felt a lot lighter than normal, i opened the container and there was a big scoop missing — you can literally see that someone’s finger was digging into it

I have thin hair, and this helped bring out the texture cut. I really like it!

Works well for thicker or textured hair - good for short hair that needs a little oomph and sculpting or styles that need a little more hold such as braids.Malleable, yet has nice hold. Good smell too.

I read the recommendation from GQ for this product and tried it out. Turns out I can see why it was recommended. Both myself and my 10-year-old son use this pomade with great results.

As it states, it is wax so expect it to be a little sticky. It is not heavy but thick enough to coat the hair for a nice soft hold. No smell, which is great! Nice product.
