this gas tank does not fit the 52cc 2hp gas powered preadator auger from harbour freight
does not fit 52cc 2 hp preadator auger from harbour freight its a misrepresentation of the product gas cap needs to be on top not side and holes are off by over an 1/8th of an inch with brass grommets so you cant jerry rig it with out damage

Not exact replacement
Upon mounting the fuel tank, the Fill neck is not on top but on the side heading towards motor. Tank is much smaller than original tank. I Made it work however but the description for item is completely misleading.

Close fit
Cap was in a different position but I was able to make it work.

It fit well and served it’s purpose!
I needed to replace the tank on the auger because I had failed to empty the 2-cycle gasoline-oil mixture after I used it last and it gummed up the tank so badly that it was virtually impossible to cleanse the bottom of the tank.
