On time and works

I was surprised when this turned up in a small cardboard box instead of a bag, but it becomes apparent why when you open the box; it's quite a chunky little set, with the cable, a soft plastic strip holding the adapter tips and a pair of spare 10 amp fuses.Unlike many multi-tip adapter sets, this one doesn't use two-pin adapters, instead opting for a DC5521 plug on the cable - which will fit many devices right off the bat - and a set of eight adapters to convert DC5521 to other sizes, including a terminal block option for hard wiring.Going down the DC5521 route has the disadvantage of not allowing for reversed-polarity devices (centre negative) to be connected, but has the advantage of not leaving you worry about the adapter shorting to the vehicle chassis, which on a centre-negative output would blow the fuse.Note that this is an unregulated supply; whatever the car is putting out, that's what your device is getting. In operation a car's cigarette lighter socket could well be putting out around 14 volts, so be sure that your device is happy with "around 12 volts" and not "exactly 12 volts". As you can see in the review photo, my TP-Link router is happy to run from a lead-acid battery through this cable.

Got this to keep in the car. You never know when and where you gonna need this. Comes with different size of replaceable extensions which can work with most of devices. This gives you peace of mind when you're travelling. Reasonably priced.
