Recently, I had the opportunity to try the Glow Recipe Get Glowing with Me Kit by Katie Fang, which includes three travel-sized products: the PHA + BHA Face Toner & Gentle Face Exfoliant, the Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer Face Cream, and the Hue Drops Tinted Serum. My experience with these products was overwhelmingly positive, and I’d like to share my journey with you.Before diving into any new skincare routine, I always conduct a 24-hour patch test to ensure I won’t have any adverse reactions, especially with scented products. Thankfully, this kit passed with flying colors—no signs of irritation or allergies, which was a great start!The first product I tried was the PHA + BHA Face Toner. With its delightful watermelon scent, I found it to be incredibly refreshing. Perhaps “refreshing” isn’t quite the right word, but my skin felt cool and hydrated after each use. This sensation is likely due to the absence of simple alcohols like ethanol and isopropyl alcohol, which can be dehydrating. Instead, the toner left my skin feeling moist and comfortable, a testament to its gentle formulation.Next up was the Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer Face Cream. This product performed just as well as the toner. It applied smoothly and absorbed quickly without leaving a heavy or greasy residue. While I have used less expensive moisturizers that deliver similar results, the Plum Plump cream still impressed me with its lightweight yet effective hydration.Finally, I tried the Hue Drops Tinted Serum. Initially, I was skeptical about this product. The shade seemed too dark, and the texture felt thicker than other serums in my collection. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. The serum absorbed well without any sticky residue, leaving my skin with a mild, glowing look and a hint of glistening. Although I’m not entirely sure about this look for early daylight hours, it certainly adds a nice touch for evening outings.Overall, I found all three products in the Glow Recipe Get Glowing With Me Kit to be rewarding and effective. If you’re considering this kit, be prepared to spend a bit more than you might on other Korean skincare products, but the results are worth it. This kit has earned a spot in my skincare routine, and I look forward to seeing continued benefits from these delightful products.

This set includes three generously-sized minis (about half the full size) of toner, cream, and dewy serum. They’re made with fruit extracts and smell gently fruity. The hue drops look dark bronze out of the bottle, but they disappear almost completely on my light skin, leaving a subtle, dewy glow.

This product broke my face out I don’t like it at all not recommended I got so much acne I’m so frustrated

I'm fairly light in skin tone. The rose color blends easily on my cheekbones without looking garish. I do have tempermental skin however. Al three items blend naturally without irritation. Will purchase again. No smell that I can detect. Major plus.
