Great bit of kit
A great little bit of kit! Really easy to set up and very compact. Hardly takes up any space. Very pleased with this, especially for the price.

Very good buy
I've been using this stepper for a few weeks now and very happy with it. It takes seconds to assemble and is very sturdy, It's also very compact so doesn't take up much room in my study. It can get slightly loud when in use, but a bit of WD40 now and again sorts the squeaking.

Good quality for the price.
The media could not be loaded. I am a septogenarian who went to the gym 5-6 times a week before lockdown. With the money I have saved on membership fees and petrol to get there I decided to buy some equipment and exercise at home.Gym quality it isn't but I wasn't expecting it to be at this price, but is sturdy, and stable. As others have said the assembly instructions are in German and it does need a little thinking about to follow the diagrams; luckily the bits were numbered which helped. With the handles at full height it is just about right for for me at 5'2", though I would have liked it an inch or two higher. In my 'try-out' the set resistance seemed neither too much or not enough. It took me a while to work out that the computer fitted on the right foot pedal which means that I may have difficulty reading it as I wear bifocal glasses. Possibly it needs to be there to be activated by the movement.I have taken off a star for the height adjustment and the position of the step counter. I will update my review after using it for a workout if necessary.Came quickly, securely packed for transit and easy to open.Since lockdown I have bought 3 items of equipment from Homcom for my home gym workouts and I am pleased with them all.Update: I have used my stepper for several weeks now and am happy with it. I have got used to the handles being a bit lower than the gym stepper and found that running trainers grip the pedal ridges better than cross trainers. I haven't sussed out the computer but the numbers do keep changing at a speed to see/understand them while stepping. At first a bit of black powdery residue came off the plastic washers where the pedals meet the frame (possibly manufacturing flashing wearing off) but it has stopped now. I use it 2-3 times a week and have popped a drop of oil on parts that move against each other (but not the pneumatic pistons) and re-greased the wire where it passes over the pulley wheel. I have been using my stepper in 10-15 minute sessions and, although there is no way to alter resistance, I know I have done a challenging workout. I'm a small, slight woman and I can carry it easily from where I store it to infront of the TV.Reappraisal of handle height: since folding up the stepper for the first time (and posting a video doing it in customers' questions) I have worked out how to adjust the handle. It will go higher and lower than I had it set on so will 'fit' people of different stature. To sum up: it's a good peice of equipment at a good price, easy to move and use. I had planned on just getting a bike, rower and treadmill for my home workouts but bought this on a whim when it popped up on a 'recommend for you' amazon email. I'm pleased I did.

I'm Impressed!
Came pretty much fully assembled. No tools required to bring it into use.Once you get your technique sort, there's no need to "ground-out" the pedals.Quiet.Handle is useful just to steady yourself.Handy addition to the home gym!

I've nothing good to say about it
This is rubbish and it's going back. I was aware that it only had a single resisitance level, but I wasn't aware that the level was zero. So, I have to pelt it for about ten minutes to reach the point where I can start getting some kind of benefit out of it. Whereas if it has some level of resisitance, then I could likely reach this point in a fraction of the time. And while I applaud the fact that its not squeaky, every step is a clunk, clunk, clunk, even with my Bose noise cancelling headphones on. I should point out that I have been a regular hillwalker since 1996, so the lack of resisitance is specifically frustrating to me. I accept that others may be happy with zero resisitance. So, it's back to Plan B, to get a step-up box.

Easy for a vintage chick
This was so easy to set up and amazing to use. At 74 i needed to strengthen my legs after illness and this is perfect.. thank you.

Not very well house trained
Firstly, it's pretty sturdy and very easy to assemble. I'm also sure it is giving me a reasonable workout - although it doesn't feel that I'm being really pushed physically. There are a few points that need highlighting:The extendable handle is quite short - I'm average height and it's useable but could do with being another foot or so higher (I appreciate it's constrained by the footprint when folded). The handle is a bit wobbly. This may be because I have it fully extended and it is useable, just not great.Lastly, and possibly an important point for some people is the wheel between the 2 feet wears down and drops black dust onto the floor. Just one ten minute session will leave a very noticeable mark on the floor that you'll need to clean each time. Even my tiny wife saw a significant mess after using it for ten minutes. This is also obviously going to determine the life of the machine and I have no idea how long it is going to last before the wheel is ruined.

Great stepper
This is great, especially for the price. It's easy to put together and folds small so you can tuck it away when you're not using it.
