Definitely helping…
I have been lucky to receive red light treatment via the NHS, unfortunately they only allow so many sessions, but it is something that I have definitely found the benefits of using it.When I was given the opportunity to review this red light, I absolutely had to give it a go.It was very easy to assemble and with the different arm joints it is flexible to use on most parts of the body. In the last month I have used it on my back, my hands and my knees, each have arthritis and tendinitis, the read light has helped with all, especially my knees. To have this at home to be able to use when I need it, is so useful for me.You do have to be careful and stick to the 30 minute limit, as it can cause a skin irritation if left on for longer. It’s a great product at such a good price, I would definitely recommend it.

Good size
At last after buying 3 others ( different supplier ) this one is a great size & doesn’t fall over!Too early yet to comment on its performance, but from reading other reviews , it looks promising!

Would not trust due to poor quality.
This lamp flashed after 20 minutes of use and would not stop flashing until after it had cooled down. The transformer on the plug also became very hot during use as well as the lamp body.

Works Wonders
At the current price of £79.00 (down from the RRP of £99.99), this red-light panel set is fantastic value. The components arrive securely packed in a sturdy box. Screwing the stand together is a quick and easy process, as is attaching the panel to the top, after which the user has full bend/tilt/swivel control over the direction of the panel. The base is weighty enough to prevent the stand (with panel attached) from tipping over, as long as the panel is adjusted in line with the front of the base (same principle as adjusting a microphone stand). The stand/panel can tip over if it's adjusted in other directions, but this can be avoided by placing a heavy weight on top of the base. For safety's sake, it's a good idea to put a weight on the base whenever the panel is on the stand, just in case. This prevents tipping and averts any potential damage to the unit. The panel uses a mixture of red wavelengths and near-infrared wavelengths in order to stimulate optimal health. Used in combination, these wavelengths have been shown to increase blood flow to skin cells, thereby increasing the amount of oxygen and nutrients delivered to skin. This encourages wound healing, stimulates cellular regeneration, and reduces inflammation while also stimulating the production of collagen, which enhances skin's elasticity. The mitochondria of every cell have receptors that respond to near-infrared wavelengths by bringing on an increase in cell metabolism, protein synthesis (including collagen), and antioxidant activity. In short, cellular function and detoxification are optimised. This makes red-light and near-infrared therapy extremely effective at improving general health and well-being. This therapy doesn't just have positive effects on skin, though. It gets deeper too, accelerating recovery after exercise and helping to prevent the onset of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscular Soreness - the pain that can last for days after intense exercise). In short, this type of therapy is good for you in many ways. Having access to it in one's own home is a real boon.Glasses are included in the box (not "goggles", as they're described on the product page). Why these are included is a mystery. Red-light therapy (both red and near-infrared wavelengths) is safe for eyes. More than that, it has been proven to help heal eye injuries, reduce eye inflammation, and protect against vision loss. Lots of peer-reviewed clinical studies confirm this. Blue-light and UV wavelengths are the ones that are best kept out of eyes (hence why blue-light-blocking glasses and monitor screens have become so popular in the past couple of years). Red and near-infrared wavelengths, on the other hand, are as friendly to eyes as they are to the rest of the body. The included glasses are, therefore, not just pointless but counterproductive. I don't wear them.Excellent value. Quality kit. Works wonders. Five stars.
