TOKYO Natural Handmade Wood and Paper 4 Pane Room Divider/Splitter Screen

I found this Japanese style screen excellent value. An authentic screen actually made in Japan would be many times more expensive so this shoji style screen is an anfgordable alternative. The screen arrived perfectly intact, it was double-boxed, and and delivered day earlier than expected. It is ready assembled and stands safely in the room. I wouldn’t choose it if children or pets were around, but it can divide spaces of a long room or studio rather neatly, and is easy to move or fold as needed. Light shines through very pleasinglyThe “fabric” listed for so many cheaper furniture items found online is in fact plastic, even when mis-advertised as canvas. I am pleased this is not the case here, with sturdy paper used between the wooden frame as you should expect for the Japanese style.I think the screen looks great and very well priced.

This is a perfect solution for my requirements. When I am working from home I don't want everyone on a video conference to see my home. With this screen behind me it looks office like and screens off the room. It's light enough for me to be able to move it easily but sturdy enough sit steadily. It's very attractive and could have many other uses in the home screening off areas and lets a nice diffuse light through. It arrived the second day after I ordered it and was well packaged. I am very pleased with it.

I bought this to replace a three-section screen that I'd had for years, and this one does the job very well. Being wider, it screens my bay window beautifully without being stretched out too much. It looks elegant and does a lovely job of providing soft, filtered light, and complete privacy. The price is excellent, and the screen arrived well packaged and very quickly after ordering.Update 29/08/2016 - Just added two photos of back of screen, because some people have asked about the reverse. If there is any light source at all coming through the screen, you will still see the framework through the Japanese paper. I still absolutely love this screen, and I think it's even cheaper now than when I bought mine! Hope this helps.

Lovely and light enough to carry to whichever room you need it in.Sturdy enough to not fall over, though I wish I'd bought the feet to make it extra sturdy.I love the way the light from a lamp shines through it.I don't like the way you can see through the gaps between each panel.I use it to divide my bedroom/ office or my lounge/ dining room whenever I want to hide a messy area

Very happy with this purchase. Bought it as I’m working from home and have a small space so wanted to hide some background. Only have had it a few days but the mental separation between a work and living space has been great. Also, it’s easy to fold back and doesn’t take up much space. Looks nice in the room.

This screen is well made. It stands completely upright and is easy to move and adjust position and it is heavy enough to be stable. The paper is thick and I am not worried about putting my fingers through it; of course I am being very careful. I bought this screen to use as a backdrop for my photos (I sell hand made item online) and it is perfect. I am very pleased with this screen.

I purchased this to hide my gym equipment in the conservatory. It does the job, looks good, still lets the light through and best of all no more complaining from the husband that the room looks like a gym because he can't see it anything! Good size and quite sturdy too.
