This review is for the 'Peptac Liquid Peppermint, 500 ml, Sugar-Free Indigestion Relief - Free Measuring Cup.'- This Peptac liquid arrives in a large brown glass bottle with screw-top lid.- The label has details, ingredients, instructions printed on it in a legible print. It can be peeled back to reveal a further 2 sides of information. It advises to read the entire label before use.- This Peptac liquid has a thick white smooth texture, it is useful for acid indigestion and heartburn relief.My Mum has used it for years and recommended it to us.- It is sugar-free, but does contain saccharin sodium so it has a very sweet taste.- Suitable for adults and children over the age of 12.- Recommended dose is two to four 5ml teaspoons up to 4 x daily after meals and before bed-time. (And if symptoms persist after 7 days, consult a doctor).- Advice is to shake it before use and not to take within 2 hours of taking other medicines.- The expiry date is printed on the label - on the bottle I received it is April 2026.- Very useful to have in my medicine cupboard. (I reduced rating by a star for the sweet saccharin taste!)

Item was fine,I have used it quit a lot in the past,for pain relief and indigestion.

I read all of the negative comments about the taste of this product but I was looking for effective treatment for a queezy stomach. This didn't taste as bad to me as I've had much worse in my life. It's quite thick, but not difficult to swallow. After the first time using it, I was really surprised at how effective it was on my terrible stomach, bowel issues. It calmed the issue down tremendously. I'm very happy I found this and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for effective treatment. If the taste bothers you, then try to suck on a booked sweet afterwards. The benefits outweigh the slight taste experience.

Its the same price as my usual Gaviscon from Tesco, and that has always worked for my heartburn. The taste is, well, I suppose its ok and it did work so I can't fault it there. Just feel it should be cheaper if you can buy a well known brand name for the same price.
