This set arrived in a generic cardboard box that was sealed nicely with a few wrappings of clear tape keeping it tightly closed. Opening it up reveals the brackets, an Allen key and the required fasteners placed neatly into the box. The screws, washers and slide-in t-nuts are packed into a clear bag which did a great job of keeping things tidy inside the box.The overall quality of the brackets included is passable for the price point and everything works as intended with 4040 or doubled up for 4080 euro style extrusion. There are definitely a few spots that have rough and sharp edges on the aluminium brackets, so it’s worth going over the edges of each bracket if they’re going to be within reach of someone once you’ve built them up. The rest of the roughness can be attributed to the fact that these are cast then quickly cleaned up to meet a cheaper price point. Despite the roughness of the brackets in some spots the important surfaces are flat and appropriately sized for the 8mm slots and M8 hardware used for 40 series extrusions so they’re completely fine apart from the odd piece of metal you might want to deburr.The brackets are plenty sturdy, and I had no issues using them to get nice square joins between several bits of the 4040 extrusion I use for my DIY workbenches. They’re comparable to other affordable brackets I've ordered from China in the past, and they’re more than strong enough for reinforcing things made from 4040/4080 profiles.The quality of the rest of the set is on par for a generic hardware set like this, everything except for the washers and aluminium brackets are made from the usual zinc plated carbon steel. That isn’t really a knock against them though, and you get the exact quoted quantity of each component which all match the described dimensions. It all feels well enough made for the job, with clean threading and well-formed socket heads on each screw. All you really need to add to the set is a bit of threadlocker if you’re going to be dealing with any vibrations, and you’ll be good to go.Something to keep in mind with this particular set is that they’ve only provided slide-in t-nuts which means you need to have access to the ends of the profiles to slide the nuts into position as they can’t be added into a built frame. Nothing is stopping you from using M8 sized 40 series hammerhead or roll-in t-nuts but as the set arrives you need access to the ends of each profile to add them in.Ultimately the brackets are absolutely fine for what they’re intended for, although the £15.99 pricing is a bit higher than I'd expect for a set of 10 as there are a few cheaper options per bracket on Amazon in various quantities.

A fairly good quality set of angles for 4040 extrusion. The metal feels ok and they are up to task.Probably would have been better as a 12 pack though.
