Sweet
I read this in a “gentle” voice the other night hoping it would help my baby girl sleep like the soothing voices on YouTube reading it (go check it out if you want to see the story) she loved the pictures so much that she got over excited and hyper! So yes a lovely book but for my daughter not one for before bed! It’s sweet but I prefer on the night you were born

We don’t like this, love the others
I’m so disappointed with this book!We love her books and have nearly all of them. This honestly feels like it’s just made off the back of the others. My son however does enjoy looking at the illustrations. I just don’t enjoy reading, whereas on the night you were born, I adore reading! Or I’d know you anywhere my love. Lovely sentimental bed time messages.

Stunning
We already have 'on the night you were born' and 'wherever you are' which are both gorgeous books so I just had to order this one too. It's a lovely book and the illustrations are stunning, I especially love the tigers one, so beautiful. I love reading Nancy Tillman books to my little girl, I would recommend her books to anyone.

Beautiful images, mediocre text
I'm not a huge fan of the text in Nancy Tillman's books. She makes beautiful collages then accompanies them with rhyming verse (this time written by Eric Metaxas) that is neither particularly poetic nor informative. For example, a verse about bees is accompanied by an image of a raven in a tree. There is also an image of a panda in a Eucalyptus tree and images of nocturnal animals (raccoons, foxes) going to bed at night. I know this is supposed to be about a magical dream land where anything is possible, but it still irritates me.
