What a great little radio this is. DAB & FM, tuned all stations available and has lots of preset positions for our favourite stations. Good looking, compact design. Rechargeable with a long battery life. Perfect for our needs and value for money to boot.

The sound quality is better than I expected, it connects to Bluetooth easily. Definitely portable and works well. Radio quality is amazing! And connected to more channels than I knew we had around here. Perfect size.

It works as described. Upon initial start-up scans and saves all DAB+ stations, further scans can be started manually if required. Straightforward operation, quite intuitive. The manual is written in easy to understand proper English, which makes a pleasant change. Sound quality is really very good for a small radio, and it has plenty of volume if required (can be used as a Bluetooth speaker). My only quibble is that the battery doesn't last as long as I had hoped between charges. It's not bad, and probably lasts longer on FM than on DAB, but it would have been nice to have a larger capacity internal battery. That's why I knocked off a star.However, for the price it is excellent, and I can't see it disappointing if you require a simple decent quality portable radio with all the basic features.

An exceptionally good value radio. Has all the features I need. Modern, compact design with good sound quality especially considering the size. The aerial is a sensible length, longer than some portable radios. The radio pulls in all the FM, DAB and DAB+ stations I was expecting and more. Built in rechargeable battery is a nice touch with good battery life. Highly recommened.

I purchased a Majority Orwell portable radio to replace an ageing FM radio I had for work. Easy and quick to charge with a robust casing and very easy to use. I like the volume turn knob on the top for ease of adjustment and sound quality is very good for the money. You can store presets that are easily accessible. Overall the simplicity of operation is what is so great about this radio. I have a Majority Fitzwilliam V1 tuner and knew this Orwell would be good and I was not disappointed. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

So far problems. Charged ok, and 90 stations found, on going back to radio a few hours later, nothing was working, no radio, no bluetooth options just time and date settings, tried a few things but to no avail. Checking in with help desk which to be fair responded quickly but now need to wait until battery drains and try again, will take days, we'll see, shame as looks nice and sounded good in the brief time it worked and on paper a great price.

Bought this for when we are away in our motorhome. Great sized jradio and it's easy to use, lightweight, smart design and rechargeable too so no looking for batteries
