The book itself is amazing, but the packaging is very poorly done
The media could not be loaded. "Six of Crows" by Leigh Bardugo is a gripping fantasy novel that brings together a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique abilities and backstories. Set in the richly imagined world of the Grishaverse, the story revolves around Kaz Brekker, a cunning thief with a dark past, who assembles a team to pull off an impossible heist. The novel excels in character development. Each member of the crew, including the fierce Inej, the sharpshooter Jesper, and the enigmatic Nina, is fleshed out with depth and complexity. Their interpersonal dynamics are as captivating as the overarching plot, making readers invest emotionally in their journeys.Bardugo's writing is both lyrical and immersive, painting vivid scenes that bring the world to life. The blend of action, suspense, and intricate plotting keeps the pace brisk, ensuring that readers are on the edge of their seats. Themes of loyalty, betrayal, and redemption are woven throughout the narrative, adding layers of meaning to the thrilling escapades.Overall, "Six of Crows" is a masterful blend of heist adventure and character-driven storytelling. It's a must-read for fans of fantasy and those who appreciate well-crafted, multi-dimensional characters. With its cliffhanger ending, it leaves readers eagerly anticipating the sequel. 🌟📚✨

Magnificent.
The media could not be loaded. The cover is beyond words beautiful.I absolutely adore the character art at the back, considering this is my first collector's edition book, I'm very happy. There are slight smudges of red but not to bothersome. If u are looking to gift a bookworm! Do go for collector editions! This one is perfect, absolutely loved the storyline. Leigh bardugo reigns again!

A thrilling book.....A must read for money heist lovers
The six of crows by Leigh is the first book in the intriguing duology set in Ketterdam, including Grishas and mystic powers. The Six crows, those that make up this gang includes- Kaz Brekkar, the bastard of the barrel; Inej, the Wraith; Jesper, the sharp gun shooter; Nina, The Grisha; Matthias, the Druskelle and Wylan, the Merchling. They all are put together by Kaz to break into the Ice Court, a prison with the highest security such that those who walk in never walk out alive. Ice court is the prison to keep the Grishas captured. And they embark on this impossible heist for different reasons of their own, when the terror of Jurda Parem is unleashed. But all of it ends, in the reward of 4 million kruge.Unraveling the reasons of why each character joins this impossible life threatening heist, their past which made up who they are and what they turn into, is packed with great detail and thrill in this book. I can assure you this is the one book that can keep you up all night. The book is so intriguing with a diligent writing style and hint of sarcasm and wit. The fact that it has twists in almost every chapter you read, fascinated me more. The end.....will leave u in awe of the book.A 4.7 out of 5 because for me, the last part of the last chap felt a little exaggerated and unnecessary, because the characters had gone through a journey and set standards for themselves, bringing them back to tricks they used in the beginning was not what I needed.A must read for everyone looking for a thriller or heist. Highly recommended for lovers of Money Heist.

Emotional Roller-Coaster.
Six of Crows is a sprawling tale of adventure, fantasy, and most surprising of all emotional drama. I never expected this book to get me so attached to the characters. I think that's the book's greatest strong point, the characters.Characters:Kaz, Inej, Nina, Matthias, Jesper and Wylan are all extremely well developed characters. Each with their own complex history and conflicts. When you put such amazingly realistic and empathetic characters in a fantastic world, you know that your story will be a success. It's no surprise the hype and furor surrounding this book. Bardugo deserves every bit of it.Setting:Ketterdam and Fjerda are the two main locations and each of them have a distinctive atmosphere of their own. The languages remind me a lot of German, as the names also do. I didn't completely understand the different types of magic in this world, and that was probably because I haven't read the prequel trilogy (The Grisha Trilogy) to this story. Though some events that transpired there have been hinted at, I would say this book can be read on it's own. A fully realized and detailed setting that's not outlandish by any means but still entirely unique in it's own way.Plot:This is a fast paced book. Albeit, it took me a while to get into it, once I was hooked I finished the last 300 pages in one night, staying up till the wee hours of morning. Action packed, with enough things happening at all times to keep you gripped. A wholly bingeable book with a roller coaster ride of emotions.Final Thoughts:Six of Crows got me laughing, worried, excited, amazed and shipping one particular couple ( "Maybe it's because I like your stupid face") which I very rarely do. Excellently written and adequately paced, this book will consume you. And I loved every moment of it.9/10: "No mourners" "No funerals."[Product Note: I got an unblemished paperback with a great cover(as shown in the cover image). Great service by Amazon, as always.]
