Good quality shielded cable
This is a shielded cable so it's ment for extending Lav mics and shotgun mics for recording purpose. If you just want an aux extension cable for playing music then go for amazonbasic.I have used this to connect my Rode LavGo and Zoom H1n and it works perfectly.I have also used this with Rode VideoMic NTG and it works fine, there might be a little bit dip in volume but it worked fine with my setup (mic was quite close to the subject, and the subject was quite loud).

Serve the purpose.
Coming straight to the point. When to buy? When you are using rode mics, like Rode VMGO, rode Video Micro, rode VMPR plus and your video setup is such a way that camera is far away from audio source or you. This way you can use this extension cable to get that mic near you using boom pole or arm extension. How to use it?Just simply plug in, adjust levels in camera for your mic and you are good to go.Suitability ?Not with smrtphones, for smartphones you need trrs to trs extension, this is for rode mics to connect directly to camera and then to rode mics for longer distance.Length !Length is fine, i would not say too long but adequate. If you have any other issues or queries to ask related to product you can connect with me on instagram: fitnessinfinity.in or email at [email protected]

Pricey, but durable and SECURE/LOCK
The extension cable secures/locks jack with a solid click sound and stays in place. All other cheap options around 500/– have very loose fitting start from the beginning of use.

Sometimes expensive does mean great quality.
Sometimes expensive does mean great quality.I know this is not as cheap as some of the generic extension wires you might get out there but this is solid quality. You can tell by the build, material and little things like spiralled cord at the end to give it some play if you accidentally yank it.

Any 300 INr cable can not get u the same ...
Any 300 INr cable can not get u the same result... in terms of the interference. very well shielded cable. using it with zoom h1 and video mic pro... the difference between my h6 + NTG 4plus set up sound quality wise a slight behind,,,, but definitely that setup cost more than double .and if you are not comparing critically you will never gonna feel the difference after some post-production manipulation. and some how this cable plays a major role in that case , bkz with the other cheap cables I use to get a noise and interference and there is a sound quality difference also a bust in gain .

Just go for it
Works well to connect my rode videomic go with my canon 70d.I have mounted the rode videomic go on a boom pole and this cable has served its purpose well for the connection between microphone and camera.Just go for it.
