Very hard, as advertised. Spiky with little to no give when you push on it. If you're looking for deep tissue trigger point release, this is it. Otherwise, if you're looking for a more compliant ball with duller points, look elsewhere

As hard as described in other reviews but that's what I wanted. Nubs aren't sharp but they're effective. Perfect size for my hand. Exactly as described and I think they're great. I got the pack with a regrettable pink ball because it was on sale but nobody else sees them anyway so I don't care. If you benefit from pain stim for any reason this will do the trick nicely. Good price, good quality.

Bought them on Spring discount for under $5 in hopes of using them as laundry agitator balls in a front load type washing machine. (The Laundry Alternative Niagara Compact Washer - European Style) I lucked out! These actually proved to be perfect for what I was wanting. The laundry balls/agitators advertised & available are either too small, too expensive, known to fail (the beads leak out), or just don’t meet the expectations of most consumers based on reviews I have read. So when I accidentally stumbled upon these & thanks to a video of someone showing the hardness of the balls, I decided to try them for my intended use and it works! I went ahead & ordered 2 more sets so I got 9 decent sized balls for under $15. Very pleased. So laundry enhancers and I can massage myself as a bonus lol.

My Dogs have fun batting these along the floor in the kitchen . No choke danger and nice break from annoying squeaky toys haha. They are small dogs and get a kick out of the wobbly sound and movement over hard flooring. Good as a foot (arch) roller too :)

These spiky massage balls have been a lifesaver for my sore feet! The firm texture and size are just right for targeting all those tight spots, especially for dealing with plantar fasciitis pain. I had to return these. I bought them for my Pilates clients and had to return them. They HURT. It's too plastic without any give.
