I have been utilizing the apparel manufactured by this organization for an extended period. The garments produced by LA Police Gear are specifically designed to endure the rigors of demanding conditions. They exhibit exceptional breathability and resistance to wear and tear. The colorfastness of this particular shirt is remarkable. The combination of style, comfort, and overall performance of this shirt is truly outstanding. It provides an exceptionally comfortable wearing experience. Initially, the material may feel somewhat stiff, but it undergoes a softening process after several wash and dry cycles. This product offers excellent value for the investment.

This is a great shirt for field work or other outdoor duties that are hard on clothes. It looks nice, is comfortable, has a lot of utility with the included pockets, and most importantly, it is very durable! No complaints! 5/5

I don't know if it was someones sense of humor or just thinking people are that dumb (maybe they are), but bag reads "REMOVE FROM BAG BEFORE WEARING" I love this shirt, and I would have given it five stars except I pick things apart, let me explain. The first thing I do when I get an article of clothing is check the work. Are the buttons loose are the seams straight, are there loose or missing stitches and so forth. This one was good except for unclipped threads, it shows lack of pride and poor quality control. They were all over the place, I found better than one dozen. Some people may call that extreme or picky, but that's part of rating things, right? Other than that all was above and beyond. This company finally got sizing correct. Most times I hate ordering online because you never know what the country of origin is going to calculate. I'm a big guy (6'02"@250) and as a rule wear a 2XL, but I have had things come in from tents to thing I couldn't fit my forearm thru. So as a rule now I just order 3XL and hope for the best (surprisingly they usually fit). On this shirt I did the same and ordered the 3XL to be safe. Once it came in and I put it on guess what, it proved my butt wasn't as fat as these other companies said it was, It was actually the correct sizing, of course now I have a shirt that is too big, but we can adapt. The shirt is made of thick tough material that almost feels like ripstop (I don't think it is). It has right and left breast pocket with velcro closure and expandable center. Behind each main pocket there is a vertical opening for a monstrous pocket that goes from the center button line, to the bottom of the pocket over to the shoulder then up to the collar line, there is one on each side with a velcro closure. On the upper, outer sleeve there are pockets for pens or small flashlights. I think they could have done better here,because it is only wide enough to get a pen in but it's 8" deep, if you miss the clip you're going to be digging. A neat feature that they infused into this shirt was they did the closure. Instead of being buttoned all the way to the bottom the last fasteners at the bottom look like buttons, but they are actually snaps. Why would they do this you may ask, it is so if you have to retrieve your weapon quickly you don't have to undo any buttons and you don't have to lift your shirt, PURE GENIUS, all these years I've been walking around with my bottom two button undone, I guess I had the same idea I just looked more like a slob (still do). If they just would have paid a little more QC time, and maybe done some thinking on those sleeve pockets this would have been a full five, allowed I would still give it 4.5. I wouldn't hesitate to buy something else from these guys, plus I know I can order the correct size, my size.

Fit is exactly what I expected. Pockets are sized and located as expected to be functional. Shirt is comfortable. Seems to be a durable material without being overly stiff. Material is not scratchy. Feels good wearing it. Overall a good warm weather shirt with some function to it.

This is very much on par with many of my higher end uniform shirts. This is not meant to be worn as a uniform shirt, but more of a casual/off Duty feel with all the functionality of most standard uniforms. It has all the chest pockets and inner velcro pockets that my full uniform has. Material is virtually the same as higher end shirts like flying cross, 5.11 and other brands. All the buttons are sewn on well and the bottom two buttons are snaps making it easier to draw from a concealed holsterIf you're not used to wearing such shirts, you're going to find it a little stiff to start out with, but that's also kind of the point with this type of shirt. Clean crisp with no wrinkles! My only real complaint would be the cost, as it's still pretty high compared with other brands and their version of the same product being in the same ballpark.I ordered double XL and it is a bit big on me, so I would recommend sticking to normal size guidelines. XL would fit me fine. If you wish to wear a vest under it I'd say go up a size.
