Practical, average build quality, does the job
This is my first purchase of a system like this and I use it with a Gardiner carbon fibre pole and Gardiner brush. There were much more expensive systems available and some that look like converted sack barrows, but this one seemed like good value for money and we needed a cheaper option to start with as window cleaning is only a part of our commercial cleaning service.I have used it so far for about 200 litres of work. The good points. It has a decent size tankIt’s easy to get in and out of the vanThe battery life is good. I have used it so far for about 8 or 9 hours and it’s still showing full.To be able to control the flow has saved a lot of water. The tyres are solid and don’t need inflation. The bad pointsThe company does not provide instructions, so when you first get it, although there is a marketing video, they don’t tell you that you have to install a fuse (provided) or how long to charge it for. The charger has a green and a red light on it, but when one is lit, without instructions, you don’t know what each means.I called and spoke to customer services and they were helpful, but it shouldn’t come to that. The wheel nuts were loose on arrival and I didn’t notice, and although I have only hand tightened them, they keep coming loose, I haven’t actually had time to tighten them properly yet but I first noticed it because one nut and bolt came off completely and fell in the road, just watch out for it because if the wheel actually came off when you had the tank full, it would probably do some damage. Think it either needs locking nuts or some lock tight on the threads. The blue plastic that the hose reel and battery housing are made of seems a little flimsy. There isn’t any packaging in the box with the system when you receive it and the winding handle shows lighter colour where it looks as if though the handle was pushed in a bit during transit. It doesn’t affect it’s operation and we hardly have to unwind it much for the work we do.
