Honestly, I'm surprised at how well this works for the price.The extension slide mechanism is smooth and feels fairly robust, the hinge is very rigid and stays exactly where you leave it with small clips to keep the stand locked in the closed position, the all metal construction feels premium beyond its price, and the magnet is STRONG. Seriously, this thing won't fall off. Period. The stand having a very wide base helps dramatically with stability and the slightly rubberized contact points keep the stand from damaging surfaces you place it on.2 small notes, not dealbreakers in any way for me personally:1. The elastic loop is small and difficult to get your fingers under if you have larger hands.2. The metal ring to attach to non Apple devices to adapt the stand to your phone had difficulty adhering to the soft-touch glass back on my Galaxy S23+. This wasn't an issue as I already had a magsafe adapter case, but your mileage may vary. The adhesive seemed very strong and I've had the same peel-and-stick material on other product work on different phones/cases without issue so it could be specific to glass-backed phones.All in all, very happy with my purchase!

I was a little skeptical but purchased this item anyway. I wasn't disappointed. I ended up using it way more than I thought I would. It's sturdy and I've never had an issue with the product detaching from my phone. I found it more useful as a stand than a camera mount. Super useful.

First time using new Iphone 16 Pro, taking a photo, I was holding with the footrest out for stability. Magnet released from my phone, dropping it 4' to the blacktop parking, scratching brand new case. As I said, the phone is 4 days old, the case is 4 days old, the Magflex stand was 1 day. Not happy, and can't trust to use except as a stationery stand. Now I am in search of a more durable Magnet phone holder. Only thing I can say that I like is the color and how it looks holding my phone while I read..

I have osteoarthritis and my fingers aren't as dexterous as they once were.This serves as a hand grip and a phone stand.The magnets seem strong enough to hold my iPhone 14 Pro in normal use.The hand grip portion feels somewhat small to me, but the inclusion of an elastic band provides more security, especially when using it as a selfie stick with your arm extended.As a desktop stand, it's excellent. You can set the angle where you8 want it.Closed, the grip is only a few millimeters thick so you can still slip your phone into your pocket.All in all, a handy device.Jerry

Nice compact folding stand that fits well in my pocket attached to my iPhone. Strong magnetic that keeps the phone attached and rock solid. On the negative side, I haven't found a comfortable way to use the strap on my finger, it's angled in the reverse direction to what in my opinion would be the intuitive use for the strap. Kinda like how a southpaw feels in a righthand world.
