Difficulties on replacement
Early days but very robust and well engineered product. 5 stars. However as many DIYers may have to do slight mods to accommodate the letter box I would recommend to the manufacturers to make all the screw retaining moulded pieces also telescopic to avoid frustration trying to align the screws. I would be happy to pay say an extra £2 to eliminate frustration. For this I give it 4 stars

Although twice the price of the cheaper one I ordered(and returned) the quality difference is night & day comparable. Well packaged, precisely made and simple to fit. The finish of all parts even down to the return spring is outstanding quality. The manufacturers confident guarantee speaks for itself ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good quality letterbox with draught protection brushes
We’ve had our trusty old letter box which came on the front door of our property when we moved in some 20-odd years ago, and although it served us well, it was short and narrow, and didnt offer any draught protection, so when this came along, I thought it was about time we made an update.This letterbox is much longer and slightly wider, though I would have preferred having a larger opening for small packages. It comes in 2 parts, these being the external flap and the internal flap which includes the draught-proof brushes. In terms of build quality, these are extremely well made and finished, the outer plastic is hard and durable and the spring shuts the flap tightly which prevents it from flapping around in windy weather, like our existing one.The letterbox comes complete with 2 sets of 4 screws of different lengths to suit most door thicknesses, It’s good value for money considering its build quality and is definately worth considering if you're on the lookout for a new letterbox.
