This product was very surprisingly well made for the price, it’s a comfortable fit on my head and because it’s a real metal material you can slightly bend it to fit your head shape! 10/10 would recommend!

Worked great for my costume

I was not sure of what to expect, but I knew that I did not want a crown made of plastic. I wanted something where the materials of the crown were somewhat believable and that did not look like a cheap child’s toy.Well, this crown exceeded my expectations. The alloy makes it feel solid but not too heavy. I weighed it and it weighs 0.6 lbs. My three sons all tried it on and it fit each of them differently, for one of my sons it fit perfectly because of his thick curly hair. However, for my other two sons, one who has a low haircut, and the other who wears his hair in braids, it was not a perfect fit. So as the advertisement suggests, it is important to know the measurements before ordering. As my main reason for ordering this was for decoration purposes, and not to wear, I am fine with the size of the crown. But if one of my son’s decided to wear it, he would look stylish.Apparel wise: One could wear this with a suit or tux, and it could work. The crown does NOT look like a part of a Halloween costume that a kid would wear, it looks nice. Furthermore, the gold does NOT look like cheap gold spray paint, but more like actual aged gold, and the green gems like peridot. Now, I am NOT saying that this 100 percent looks like an actual gold crown worth thousands of dollars. But I am saying that it looks better than a kid’s toy.Décor wise: It blends in nicely with my décor and looks like it belongs with its surroundings. I have it mixed with high and low items such as art, lamp, coffee table art and fashion books, and a designer tray. I thought that the crown mixed with these other items would emphasize the work of the great Jean Michel Basquiat, his love of crowns in his work, and the importance that his imagery of crowns and what they convey.

crownThis is an awesome crown. It's made from sturdy metal and feels quite heavy and solid. The stones range from small to medium sized, with a good shine that mimics gemstones well. The primary gems on each of the spires are emerald green. So far, the gems are holding on, so they seem to be secured with decent glue. The body of the crown is a shiny gold that looks realistic. The crown is uniform all around - there isn't an obvious front or back.One thing - this crown is huge! If you have a big head or a poofy hairstyle, this will be perfect for you. If your head is smaller, or pointy, this crown will not sit right. This would be perfect for Halloween or the Renaissance Fair. I think this crown will last a long time if taken care of properly.
