I've been riding on those "other" shorts, you know, the ones with a name like jewels from Japan. They have always been pretty nice. But the most recent pairs were different. A big piece of foam chamois. Felt like wearing a diaper. Pricey.So, I tried these. They are also a big foam chamois, but it fits & feels way better, both off & on the bike. The foam is exactly in the right places. Yes, they are heavier in total than the other ones, but once they are on, who really cares? They seem to be quality made, comfortable over longer rides, and after a couple of months, holding up very well.Colors: Ordered a dark blue, and it is. Ordered a dark grey, but its' damn near black. Just saying.

Based upon reviews I ordered two pair of shorts. One is blue, the other, olive green.My waist is 34”.I am a road, mountain and gravel rider. I teach spin classes.Blue in the XL fit very well. Olive green in the XL are remarkably smaller. It almost seemed that they were mislabeled. So, blue are retained.Quality seems excellent. Padding is a bit thick, but not uncomfortable. Fabric is thicker and seems durable.These seem to exceed the comfort and quality of a PrIcier, more well-known brand.I have purchased 6-8 different brands of shorts on-line over many years. These seem better than most.They are certainly worth a try.

I've tried a few other padded bike shorts and these are by FAR the best ones I've worn. The padding is excellent and I love the fabric they are made of. Highly recommend these!!

These are a good fit and have good padding. It has a high, thick waist band. It does roll over a bit, but not as bad as my last Pearl Izumi Select bike shorts. That really just means I have got some work to do, and they probably will not. As another reviewer said, they run small, so I being a normal large, I ordered the XL, and it fits. Great replacement for my Large Pearl Izumi Select shorts.Edit:I am downgrading these shorts from 5 stars to 3 stars. I have found that the padding in it is not as wide as the Izumi Select shorts, and as a result of the shorts extreme thickness, but not wide enough, it causes a crease in-between the back of your thigh and your butt cheek, which makes it irritated. I have gotten several irritation pimples on my thigh/butt crease because of the padding edges. Unless your hip joints are closer together, you will get this irritation. I started wearing my Izumi shorts again, solving this issue.

The quality is excellent; the fabric is soft yet firm enough, and the protection works effectively.

These bike shorts are the best I’ve ever owned. For me, comfort is key. The last pair I had, I was always readjusting the positioning of the pad. This one was designed somehow, that this readjustment is a thing of the past. My shirt stays tucked in in the back, and the legs don’t ride up as you go. I love them! XL 5’10” 227 lbs.

The padding on these is pretty nice and firm, like higher end bike shorts. I got these for my boyfriend and they have helped him a lot with his entry into road biking. The reviews said they ran small, so I got him a large instead of a medium and I regret that, they are a little too big. I wish they made these for women! Then I would get some...
