PanasonicHT090 Lightweight Headphones - 5m Long Cord - Black

I bought these to use with TV because I am completely deaf in one ear and have reduced hearing in the other - the aftermath of a brain tumour. These are excellent headphones. With the volume control on the 'phones turned up and the TV volume kept down the sound is clear and there is no untoward background hiss. The 5m cable means I can keep the 'phones plugged into the TV and have them sitting on a table beside my usual chair when not in use. I have a large head and often have trouble finding things like hats etc to fit me but these fit comfortably on the second last adjustment click setting. Good product and good value.

The headphones are comfortable to wear. The sound is OK for the price I guess but I find when listening to music that the vocals, especially female vocals can get a bit raspy. The extended bass (that’s what the XBS is about) is reasonably good but the mid ranges seem to be somewhat lacking in presence. Having said all that, one would not expect top quality sound at this price so I would say it is quite acceptable and certainly very adequate for listening to TV, which after all is their main purpose.Single side monitoring appears to mean that one can move one side of the headphones aside from the ear. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a pair of headphones that would not do this so I’m not sure why it’s a feature.If there is a mute switch as advertised I have not found it yet, which is a pity because it would be quite handy to be able to mute the sound without loosing the volume setting although I suppose one could just take them off for a moment.

I'm very pleased with these headphones. I use them for TV and listening to Spotify, so as not to disturb the neighbours late at night. They also help with emphasising vocal frequencies, as I have a slight loss at that range.I find the clarity to be very good and I especially like the lightweight construction and comfort. A very good value buy.

Excellent product, very comfortable and good sound, good price and delivery

These feel a bit flimsy, not the quality I would expect from Panasonic. They did come with a 5 meter cable though unlike some of the other reviewers experiences.

Nice headphones but a bit long

Good clean and clear sound, not for music but for listening to TV.The volume control in the cord is way to small, needs doubled in size to make it functionally usable for the elderly or anyone with restricted hand and finger/ thumb use.My set doesn't turn the sound off completely
