Would make a wonderful gift or better still keep it for yourself
Lovely collection of delicious chocolate and beautifully presented too. Perfect for a Christmas gift this makes a much better alternative to the usual box of chocolates and will last longer too.Pretty much everything in the Green and Black range is represented here including a couple I have never tried before. It is pretty good value too considering the quantity and quality of the chocolate you are getting

Chocolates are great, 'gift set' is amazingly poor
I want to make a distinction here between reviewing the chocolates themselves, and reviewing the gift set. Green & Black’s chocolate is undoubtedly good quality, and quite familiar, and this set is available for fourteen quid in my local big blue supermarket beginning with T, and at that price it’s a nice way to sample a lot of flavours before deciding which ones to go back and buy bigger bars of.But as a gift set, this is absurdly, almost hilariously bad. You get the gift pack inside a grey plain plastic bag that looks more like a bin bag than a gift bag, and you have to rip it open to get in. Inside, besides the gift box, there’s one single solitary Leonidas chocolate that looks very much like what you’d expect to get as a freebie when you ask for the bill in an Indian restaurant. Then there’s the “thank you” card which is a small printed business card with “thank you for your purchase” printed on it, which again is the kind of thing I’d expect brands to stick into their packaging for free as self-advertising, rather than trying to make a virtue of it as part of the gift set.Neither the tiny extra chocolate piece or the thank you card add more than a few pennies of value at most, making a joke of the asking price of almost double what I’d pay in the supermarket for the same box.So for the chocolates themselves, mmmm yes please, but as a gift set? Really not great.
