I cannot believe how absorbent this rug is! It also gets dry sand and mud off shoes well. Once I stepped in water in cotton socks in the kitchen, so stepped onto it to see what would happen. WOW, it actually dried my soaked socks off in just a minute. I couldn't be more impressed with this rug! It grips the floor well, and hasn't moved an inch since I put it down several weeks ago. I plan to get one for the bathroom, to step on when getting out of the shower. I've never had a shower/bath mat that was absorbent like this is. Its appearance is lightweight, thin, and not particularly full or thick of fibers, and the fibers are short. I got the brown to match the floor the best, and it's ok, but not an overly attractive rug. That said, I wouldn't pass it up for any other, since the function is exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with it. I highly recommend this rug!

I have bought three of these mats so far. Great for people and dogs going in and out in all types of weather. Definitely able to handle big dog muddy foot traffic. Non slip even on tile floors and easy to vacuum. Great product.

My main reason for purchasing this rug was for my sliding glass door where I let our large dog in and out. I had tried 2 other rugs (one was an entry rug and one was a normal rug) and I constantly had paw prints leading in from rug thru my dining room to my living room. So after looking thru reviews on various different brands I decided to order 3 of these rugs to go by all our doors. Upon arrival I was a little disappointed in the color, I ordered the the tannish brown and the color was not as pretty as I had hoped. From across the room they look very nice but when standing next to them I’m not a huge fan of the color. However after looking again at different brands I noticed zoomed in they were all similar to this color regardless of who makes it and this one had the best reviews. After having a few days now it has grown on me and not a big deal. Overall the performance of the rugs has been great. I have not noticed any paw prints, even when there are wet paw prints on the steps outside the door, or dusty shoe prints from my hubby or son walking in with their shoes on since placing these rugs down. So far they have been easy to clean, I just shake off outside. They are also very soft and my dog loves laying on them to nap.

Things I NEEDED in an entry mat and why this, so far, has exceeded my expectations.I have a 34 pound dog I take in and out a lot, as I live in a condo and no yard. I have a ceramic tile entry.EVERY season here has something to deal with, mud, snow, leaves, etc.PROS:STAYS IN ONE PLACE! - I HATE rugs that MOVE. One, it's dangerous coming in from outside and two, it's a PAIN to constantly be adjusting a rug or mat. THIS ONE stays in place! My dog and I walk in and out ALL the time and it doesn't move. NOW I can't say how it would be if you had a BIG dog or two running in and out, but doesn't MOVE at all for me.COLOR COMBO - I wanted something to go with my gray living room furniture. This LOOKS gray even tho a mix of black and white and BECAUSE it's a mix, doesn't show dirt, dust or even small leaves as much as a totally solid color would.QUALITY - SEEMS good quality so far. Not too thick or too thin. Once I stomped on it a bit, it just stayed in place. One side was a tad curled up, but just walking on it make it almost completely flat an hour after I got it. I did vacuum it as advised and I haven't noticed ANY significant shedding at all.PRICE - HARD to beat for the price. I want what I want and to get it for a good price? EVEN BETTER.BOTTOMLINE: WOULD DEFINITELY get this again. And at this price, I would be fine replacing it once a year, but doubt I will need to. EXCEEDED my expectations.

Actually I bought this same mat 5 years ago and it lasted all this time. This mat picks up a ton of dirt! My silly dog likes to pick up the mat and shake it when my lawn is being cut and I close off doggie door. Never appreciated the amount of dirt it picks up until I have to clean up thrown dirt all over my kitchen! Washes great too!

I've got 8 of these rugs I've purchased over the years. I buy them again and again because they are so absorbent and keep our floors clean despite having 3 dogs running in and out their dog door all the time.None of them have been retired. I use them all and they last wonderfully!Except one. Just one, and it's from my most recent purchase, had half of the backing come loose in the wash. I follow the washing instructions, and even had the other rugs in there with it. They are all fine except the one. At $50, that really sucks. Of course it happens outside of the return window.I'll probably still buy them though. Aside from the one dud they are worth it. I have to hope it was just a one off, maybe the glue machine was running low right there or something and not that someone decided to cut costs and kill the quality. We'll see!

Love this carpet, traps the water from our dog when he comes in from the rain. Does not move on the floor, great quality.

Fantastic use inside sliding door to dry shoes. So absorbent! Not wild about the colors offered and two tones choices. But it works and doesn’t seem like pile will ever mat down. Got second one for bathroom. Works great. Again hate the colors. Need solids. And grey would ne nice fir future
