Gentle and harmless deterrent
There some rustic cabins we like to stay in where there's an endangered species of mouse in the area. Guests are told they must cohabitate with these mice and to be sure and keep food and scented products secure. We're happy to do that (the critters are actually pretty cute), and the mice mostly stay out of sight until the evening when one or two venture out to examine your stuff in the kitchen area. Even though they stay over there, they kept us awake with their little noises. We decided to try using these pouches and a sonic pest repeller to gently deter them. We don't know if it was the pouches, the sonic device, or both that did the trick, but it worked great. We didn't see or hear any activity, and no critters were harmed. We weren't sure the pouches alone would work, since other reviewers say it takes a few weeks for them to work, but maybe the scent was different and strange enough to the mice that it did deter them for the few days we were there. The scent of these pouches didn't bother us. They're worth a try.

Smelly. Yay!!!
I only just put these down, so I do not know how effective they are yet. I have used other brands in the past and honestly none of them are any magic mouse deterrent. I think the best one can hope for is a "deterrent" versus "eradicator". That said, these have a really strong smell which may be a bit off-putting to humans, but the stinkier the better as far as deterring mice. I am more optimistic about these than others. Mice ate up some filter in my car before. Mechanic told me to put a mouse pouch in the glove box. I'm still pondering whether I should put one of these in my car glove box. May be a bit overpowering. (Right now I have cinnamon sticks in there.) But, yah, these are smelly. Yay! I will do an update about effectiveness.

Mouse Repellent
It really does work and have already bought more and given some to some of my co-works.We have mice in our offices. After putting a couple of these out I have not seen anymore mouse droppings.Hope it stays that way.

Didn't work
I bought these packets for our RV and scattered all eight throughout the trailer. I put one right on the side of a bag of pretzels in the pantry and when we checked in 3 days a mouse had bypassed the packet and had eaten through the pretzel bag and munched on several. l will not buy these again so I just gave you something to think about. Maybe they won't like what's in your pantry.

Works!
Keeps those pests away! Make sure to place near potential areas they can get in. We put them on the ends of the garage so when we keep it open, they don't run in.

They do smell, which is likely the point.
These shipped promptly and where in good condition.Easy to install in car engine bay area.My only complaint is that I had an allergic reaction to them, and got sneezy and stuffed up. I am not sure which of the ingredients may have caused this, but I used similar items in the past without that acting up.
