VRS DESIGN Origin Wallet Card Holder Case [3 Cards] for iPhone 16 Pro Max (2024), Rugged Semi-Automatic 3-Card Slot & Kickstand Case (Matte Black)

After upgrading my phone and using a previous VRS design damda slide phone case w/ my IPHONE SE, I was super disappointed when saw that they had switched to a vertical slide and 3 card maximum. I TRIED to force 4 cards XD(2 debit/credit + Costco card + thinner driver's license), but to no avail. I almost had trouble getting my cards back out, don't try it haha. Of note though, even though I did what I wasn't supposed to do, it did not cause the case to break or fall apart when I put on a tiny bit more force to get my cards out. All my testing was done with pre-applied covers (front glass, back cover, and camera lens protector. After a bit of practice, I found that you can quickly get used to pulling out your driver's license and credit card really easily, you just have to dig a little harder, but you can definitely access your most used cards after getting the hang of the new vertical slide. I haven't tried it yet, but if you put your cards chip side up, you could always just slide and tap without even having to take out your cards(might have to put the other credit/card card chip opposite of the front facing card) which IMO is even better for me, because I like to be as inconspicuous and reveal as little as possible. I got used to using my old damda glide case, so it definitely provides for a smooth transaction experience. Prior to ordering this, I had ordered a SSLOTSCASE case where they had a vertical door hinge to access the 3 cards. Although that case is my number 2 choice which I used prior to ordering the VRS Design Origin, it did not provide for the smoothest transactions, mainly because I always had to slow down to not lose or drop my cards. The SSLOTSCASE has slightly more customizable features than this case, however for pure simplicity and efficiency, I prefer this case much more. This one lacks rubbery grips, however I actually find the rugged build providers for better grip, and it ACTUALLY feels less bulky than the SLLOTSCASE. I can barely tell a different in bulk size, and I have smaller hands too.Pros: Has good compatibility w/ the protector set I used. Quick efficiency transactions. Providers vertical and horizontal stand options, although it doesn't provide every angle like another case would. I haven't dropped my phone on any of these cases, however I've never cracked a phone...I had an IPHONE SE 2022 for several years, and I literally toss my phone onto the ground(from 1-1.5 feet) at the gym inbetween sets REGULARLY and have occasionally dropped my phone from hip to chest height very occasionally). The case I had, which isn't this one, but from the same manufacturer. Soooooo VRS products can take quite a bit of abuse.Cons: Only 3 cards :(. Also, can't tell if it is a con yet per se, however it's now a vertical slide instead of a horizontal slide door. It comes with similar problems as the horizonal slide in getting your cards out. If you want your least used card (bottom of the stack), you have to dig and pull out a few other cards first before you can access it. However, again, not yet yesterday, but if you can chip fine having both cards face the same way, you can put your driver's license between one of the credit/debits, and pull out the top facing credit/debit+driver's license together, and just quickly tap the remaining credit/debit, and be done with it.The case also lacks the same kickstand options that the SSLOTSCASE has.Not rubbery feel, but matte feel. I like this, but other people might not.I also noted, that the recess or how deeply the phone sits inside the VRS case compared to the SSLOTSCASE is not as deep, sooo dust and stuff can settle and become slightly annoying to clean overtime.

Overall I liked the case. It fits perfectly, was easy to put on and feels sturdy. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is how bulky it makes The phone. However, I asked for a case that has a hidden sliding compartment that hold cards…realistic expectations concerning the bulk of the item should be used.

This is very sturdy. I work as a plumber for a living and this case works very well protecting my Iphone

I love it. It's the best phone case I have ever had.I have had other wallet cases before but this was the best I have ever had. It fits my phone very well. The kickstand works very well. I have no regrets whatsoever in buying this case.

I should have just stuck with the original case I bought when I got my iPhone16 Plus. This case doesn’t feel like it fits very securely, so I worry that my phone might fall out of it. While it is rugged and offers protection to the camera lenses, just not sure this was a wise purchase

I order but at the same time I will not used it because I change right away the mobile that this case was supposed to cover but is nice I like the color the shape but thank you I want to return it but I don’t know

After I don’t know how many phone wallet cases I’ve gone through this is finally the one!! Good quality and already withstood a drop!! Highly recommended!
