Good fake kilt!
Obviously not a true kilt, but it did the job for a Scottish theme weekend at the Renaissance Faire. Had a nice little pouch on the front, it worked to hold a few items.

Big hit
Bought this for my son-in-law. I wasn't anticipating the joy he received from the gift. Fits nicely. He's a 33" waist and I purchased an extra large. Perfect length, I suppose, though I'm no expert in men's skirts. He tells me he plans to wear while cutting grass. Ok, no judgment, but I would like to see pictures.I can't tell you about washing or whether you wear underwear beneath it. Not my elephants, not my circus. I'm just thrilled he's happy.

great kilt, shipped quick
very nice, i would suggest also buying a kilt pin. not an adjustable waist, but that was expected.

Great quality, very Scottish!
OK I can't be the only woman who thought it might be cool to try to style a men's kilt for, maybe, a casual night in a pub. I dunno, I had a new pair of Doc Martens, it gave me ideas. This was Prime so I felt like it was worth a shot. No dice, however. This is a very nice kilt but it is so very masculine on me. The way it fits my body is in no way, shape, or form "cute." It's just so wrong -- comically wrong, I would say. I googled a bit and it seems the women who manage to pull of an authentic kilt usually do the wrap ones, which makes sense b/c then you can fix it to flatter curves.Anyway, ladies, that's my advice and please accept my apologies for not photographing my try-on so you can see what I'm talking about. Again, your search engine of choice can provide ample documentation of other women's kilt quests. God speed.Gentlemen, if you are in the market for a high quality, affordably-priced kilt, I highly recommend starting with this one, it's an excellent choice.

Great other than sizing
There is a lot to like about this lightweight kilt. I ordered and received a medium which per the sizing chart is supposed to fit waist 32"-34". I wear 34" jeans with a belt and my actual waist measures 33". This is a bit larger than my jeans though not tremendously larger, just enough that I will have to wear a belt to keep it from sliding down. Per the sizing chart the small would have been much too small, so I suppose with the range covering 3" and being right in the middle it isn't going to fit perfectly, but I think it actually is larger than the advertised 34". No big deal, I'll just wear a belt. Construction seems good and it appears to be a well made garment. It feels very comfortable and is lightweight so not at all hot in these summer months. I have Scottish ancestry and the green/blue tartan is a close match to one of my clan tartan colors, so big plus there. This was my first kilt purchase and mainly because it was part of the Vine program, but I wish I had purchased an inexpensive one earlier. After wearing it, I will now be more confident spending serious money on a true Scottish wool kilt, but even so this one will be great for casual wear and summer months. Other than the sizing I am very happy with this product, and if your waist size is at the top of the size range you fit in it will probably be a much closer fit.

A good kilt
The pouch is both a fun throwback and, this one, aids with higher holding. It also has two smaller pockets hidden in its sides. Each with room for a small set of keys, ones without infinite doodads on 'em, or an MP3 player. I've gotten used to utility pocketed kilts I must say the pouch is superior.

It's Exactly What is Advertised
A simple kilt that does the job. Was purchased for us in the Highland Games. The snaps haven't come loose and the fabric is light. I'm not sure it'd hold up to regular, daily use but it does great for a few times a year. The only reason I don't think it'd hold up to regular use is the snaps and how light the material feels... which honestly makes it perfect for competition. Will likely add some velcro to it next year.
