Arenamens Arena Performance Men's Marbled Swim Jammer Swim Trunks (pack of 1)

I am a first-time purchaser of men's racing jammers. I bought two pairs of the ARENA brand and one pair of the Dolphin brand (all size 42). The ARENA brand fits better, so I am returning the Dolphin brand.

I ordered the ARENA Performance Men's Marbled Swim Jammer MaxLife Athletic Practice Knee-Length Swimsuit Short Training Bathing Suit. Color: Navy/Navy Multi.I currently (i.e., winter) have a 38" waist and a 43.5" inch hip. I ordered size 40. These fit fine but I possibly could have gotten a better, tighter, fit if I ordered their size 38. I'm not a big time lsp swimmer who is trying to best my lap time each swim and, so, aerodynamics are not that important to me or I'd get a 38. Next time, I'll try the 38.These are a single layer except in the front crotch area. I'm sure thst provides a lighter jammer for those swimmers looking at speed and performance. I'd rather have a thicker fabric, but not double layer, for my casual swimming.There is a mold amount af stretch snd some a size larger than me could fit in the 40 comfortably and not feel thaey are being squeezed anywhere. Maybe even someone with 45.5" hips could fit in these if they are okay with skin tight (I am).I'll comment later on how these hold up to bleached pool and hot tub water (e.g., Color, seams, etc.).Overall, 5 stars from me.

This is replacing a pair of Speedo Endurance jammers. These seem more supportive in the hips. Not overly tight any where. I have noticed I need to tie the string tight, otherwise when doing flip turns the area by the small of your back becomes a sail. Used them on two swims so far, happy with these and would purchase again.

It's about an average swimsuit. I would say that I'm used to these being tighter, so I would suggest sizing down. The material thickness is just OK, it's not as thick as some endurance swimsuits that I've tried and the fit is definitely slightly off for full aerodynamics...

When it comes to pants, I wear between a 34 and 36 inch waist and so I ordered the USA size 40 and they fit perfectly. They are very snug but I suppose that that is the idea. I also feel like they're a little bit tight at the bottom, around my lower thigh but perhaps that is to keep them from riding up while in the water. All in all, I am very pleased with the looks, quality, and fit of these jammers.
