The smoke alarm is perfect for my needs on patrol from day one

This is a nice compact and loud smoke detector, it comes with everything you need to fit and get it up and running. Battery is included as are screws and fittings, albeit I just got some double sided pads and stuck it to the ceiling rather than drill. It has a visible red light to let you know it is working .. nice and loud on test and small and discreet on ceiling so I am happy with it

It is a smoke alarm with battery which is included. It is easy to install. I have put the smoke alarm top into the ceiling. So i screw it, and i have pressed the test button on the alarm. It is so loud beeping. It is working well with red led light flashing, which we know it works well. It is sturdy and well made. Good quality.

It’s not a major issue, but something to keep in mind. You’ll definitely know when it’s time to replace the battery!No CO Detection: This is strictly a smoke detector, so it doesn’t come with carbon monoxide detection. I ordered this to replace an existing smoke detector as it was close to expiration.The box contains everything that you need (including a battery that they say should last around 1 year).It is very easy to put together, simply unscrew the holder and attach the battery and test it.Unscrew it and then position the holder where you would like to place it. Drill necessary holes and screw the holder/top into the ceiling (there are directions to the best places to install and where not to).Then, screw it back on, re-test by holding the button a few seconds and you're all done.You can see that it works as the red led light flashes regularly and it will emit a short beep regularly also when the battery is at a low level and needs replacing. I haven't had it long enough to check that but everything so far seems great.I'm very happy with this complete kit, particularly that it includes battery (which you must connect to put it into service), easy instructions and screws + plugs for mounting.
