I used a weighted vest from Walmart and academy and they didn't live up to the expectations. The Walmart one would bounce and jiggle while jogging nor was it secured. Than the academy versions straps don't fit all body sizes. But this one is 100% the most well put vest I've seen or used. The chest vest fits snug and doesn't bounce or flail when jogging or sprinting because it's secures from the waist. The wrist pads are well made same goes for the leg pieces. I will recommend to wear clothes underneath because it can get sweaty if it's on your skin which will make it smell in due time. But overall it's amazing functions great and came as the weight I ordered with all plates. Even the accessories are neat.

Originally when I received the product I only got 7 bars but when I requested a replacement it came pretty quickly with the right amount of bars. The weights are really nice and I could definitely wear it for a while and feel the results. Would definitely recommend.

Honestly, the quality of this product is worth the price. But the fit is not quite right. I thought the steel plates would be better than the traditional sand bags, but it was not. The weight saggs down after a few minutes, causing the metal to dig into my ankles. I originally purchased this to Include it to calisthenics workouts, but that did not work well, considering the weights frequently slip off . The straps work really well, but gravity eventually wins. I find that reversing the pads (straps in The front of your legs and weights on the back) holds better. The vest is great though. Even if the limbs aren't all that great, the vest is still a win. As I said early, the quality is superb. Buy the vest and skip out on the ankle and arm weights if possible.

So I needed to train for a ruck requiring me to wear a 45 lb vest. I needed to work up to it over two months from a 10 lb vest up to the max 45 lbs. wore the vest to work out 5 days a week and hit my goal. vest is in as good condition today as the day it arrived and it has put in a huge number of miles.

Such a great set. Just wanted to know if there is anyway to buy more of the weight rods?

This vest is very sturdy. It comes with weights in small increments so you can increase the weight slowly. The Velcro allows you to adjust it to be very fitted and it is easy on and easy off. I am very short waisted so the shoulder portion is long on me and cause the shoulder straps to bunch up a bit but this is my problem and not the vest's. I'm very please with the fact that I won't have to purchase another one for a long time.

It doesnt tell you how to put on the wrist weights and I wish it would have an option for people that are big or small so I know how the size may be.

A nice weighted vest that has many compartments for the various weights. It helps to build the upper body and you can increase the heft of the weights as time goes by. It’s basically a full outfit with feet and wrists pieces to balance out your overall body. Great for power walking and so far the best has held up.
