Not sure why zippo haven't done this, great item

slight slop in the main o ring but overall seems to be good quality

I came across this while searching for Zippo lighter fluid and flints. I've seen the black plastic type but didn't think much of them, but this one looked a lot more functional.I'm pleased with it, as said we'll made, easy to install, the instructions are on the Web page. Mine came with the seals pre-fitted and there are a spare set included.The only little niggle is I find it difficult to lift the filler arm, but use tip of a knife and once raised its fine. A better way to fill with fluid I think. There is a space for a spare flint, but I've always kept one in the centre hole of the felt pad anyway.As to how much evaporation loss it provides is unknown at the moment, but is must be better I would say?I have a few Zippos, the one it's fitted to I've had for 43 years now and is as reliable as day one. So even if it doesn't save a huge amount of fluid loss, I will get some more as it looks very stylish and certainly better better than a bit of black plastic shoved in the end - in my opinion that is!

No reviewed but made a slight error in metal choice needs to be stainless steel for expansion issues in terms of heat. Also did not fit my Zippo lighter

This metal gasket seal for zippo lighters is good quality and well made. It works well and it keeps the lighter fuel from leaking or evaporating over time. It is easy to use and adds a nice weighted feel to the lighter. I'm very pleased with this good value metal gasket seal.

I love my Zippo's and have a few of them. One of the annoyances with them though, is that a fill of lighter fluid doesn't last nearly as long as a fill in a gas lighter. I had thought that this little gadget would make a difference but, if it has, it's barely noticeable, maybe an extra day or two. It looks good, is well made and comes with spare O rings and is simple to fit. It certainly tidies up the look of the Zippo when you got to fill it.
