TRUGLO 45 Degree Offset Tactical Hunting Shooting Versatile Durable Aluminum 2" Picatinny Rail Mount for Optics Mounting

I bought this offset mount for mounting a tac light on an AR upper mated to an ARES-SCR lower. With the SCR you need micro level BUIS so I needed a very low profile mount . This fit the bill and then some. Fit and finish were excellent. edges smooth and deburred so you wont tear up your hands. Mounted rock solid on the upper and the 45 degree offset rail hugs the upper closely giving you a tight profile. I've seen/handled other mounts in the $10 range that were rubbish. These are $20-$25 and are a serious piece of kit. Buy with confidence!BTW: If you like having back up parts like me the connecting bolt is a socket cap allen head bolt, #8-32 x 1-1/4". Available on several sites.

Solid mount, doesn’t move around or come loose

I honestly wasn’t expecting much for the price. But let me tell you what! For how cheep these are compared to other offset rails, they are extremely sturdy, easy to install, and sit right where I need them to. My front and rear sights are easy to acquire and they aren’t in the way of my charging handle and scope. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some offsets on a budget.

While there was no issues mounting the offset rail, the Truglo won't work with every optic or mounting plate. The space between the picatinny slots is slightly narrower than a standard rail. I tested my Sig Romeo MSR on it and it worked fine, but my Holosun AEMS has an alignment notch on the mounting plate that works fine on my upper receiver rails, but not the Truglo. You can see in the images the slots are slightly too narrow. Please be aware of this if you plan on trying to mount any optic that has a similar alignment notch on the mounting plate.

Title says it all its the best affordable mount with a nice amount of rail space saving and i wouldn't feel bad trimming it up to make it smaller i have 3 now
