Used for air travel. Very handy to insure you don’t get severely penalized for an overweight bag.

Works awesome very accurate based on my testing with plate weights from 1lb to 30lbs. Highly recommended.

Easy to use and accurate.

Imagine my excitement back in the day when I took my first international trip to London. When I put my checked luggage on the scale it was overweight by 1 pound. My wife and I had been so careful, so meticulous and yet, there I was trying to beg the agent to let it go. She refused and so I had to leave the line and repack my suitcase in the middle of the airport. We've all seen it and probably experienced it.We didn't have a dedicated luggage weight scale. Like a lot of people, we used the bathroom scale and it was always a comedy show trying to get it up on the scale and try to see the weight with the luggage covering the display. How nice to have an accurate, rechargeable luggage weight scale with a backlit display. Seriously, this scale reduces the anxiety of travel with airlines charging outrageous overweight baggage fees. You could purchase four of these luggage scales for the cost of one overweight bag fee.What I like about this scale is that it's rechargeable (USB-C) and you don't have to worry about replacing batteries or damage from batteries leaking. It's instant-on with the press of a button and ready to go. The hook is nice and large so it can easily accommodate checked luggage. The hook can be stored away with a clever attachment built into the scale on the back. There's even a built-in tape measure which comes in handy for measuring bag sizes, especially for carry-on luggage. The backlit display is one of my favorite features and the handle is a nice, large sized handle that is comfortable to hold when using.I have a love/hate relationship with the handle. It's great when you're using the scale, but there is no locking mechanism to secure it when you're not using it. So, every time you pick it up, the handle flops down and generally gets in the way. It's also didn't realize until a few weeks later that it had a backlit display. It was not enabled by default. Thankfully, the instructions had an advanced settings section for the 3 items you can customize. It took me a minute to figure out what I was supposed to do, but I got there eventually.The other consideration is the size and weight. It's larger than most of the travel luggage scales, but it's the right tool for the job if you are weighing larger checked luggage suitcases. Those little travel ones are hit/miss. It's only 7 ounces, but feels heavier for some reason and the size is a little bulky. I'm not sure I would pack this and travel with it, but it's an easy recommendation as you're preparing for your flight just for the peace of mind knowing you won't be hit with a fee at the airport.This review is based on my personal experience using the product and my honest opinion.
