I am SO GLAD I purchased this book and honestly wish I had done so sooner. I should have bought “A to Z of Crochet” and this because together they are a PERFECT combo for anyone new to the hobby. I only started teaching myself back in October of 2024 so I had something to keep my hands busy while watching hockey games with my bf.One of the main things that makes this book stand out above the rest is the explanations for things such as gauge and blocking. In my experience, these things weren’t covered very well in many beginner books and I often found both the explanations and descriptions of topics such as gauge or blocking to be vague and not very helpful for most beginners.This book handles both topics exceptionally well, in my opinion. The explanations are detailed but not overly wordy and are easily digestible and the layout avoids large blocks of text so it’s easy to reference quickly.The other standout feature of this book for me was the images. I’m a very visual learner but often prefer books vs videos to learn new skills and the images in this book are PERFECT to help clarify things that I often find videos move too quickly for me to really see which loop I’m referencing and I’m constantly pausing and rewinding. You’ll see in the images how she actually outlines EXACTLY which loop or which part of the stitch she’s referring to in the explanation.With amazing explanations and photos, an easy to read format and layout, and a wealth of reference for popular /common stitches found in most modern crochet patterns, this book is a MUST HAVE for anyone looking to get into crochet. I highly recommend for any beginners or intermediate as a solid addition to your learning/reference library!

This crochet stitch book is filled with lots of information and has colored pictures of all the different stitches that are in this book that you can make with different types of yarns. Gives you step by step directions on how to make each stitch, and it is just a library of crochet stitches, great crochet book for anyone wanting to learn how to crochet and how to make certain stitches using different patterns to make a project. Grab yours today! I’m happy to have found this crochet book by Bella Cocoa. Very Easy to understand!!

This is an absolutely gorgeous book. Very well laid out, beautiful photos! There were actually a few patterns that I didn’t know which surprised me. Stunning in every way. This is one that is actually so lovely that it can just sit out on the coffee table or nightstand just to relax with.

This book is beautiful and it's worth it to me just for that. The stitches are presented in different and lovely colors -- rarer than you might think. I have not used it for instruction yet. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I felt the included projects lacked inspiration. They were beautifully done, but not anything out of the ordinary. I do recommend it; beauty is beauty.

Bella Coco is an excellent crochet teacher and her collection of stitches doesn't disappoint. Looking forward to trying them all!

Beautiful book of so many stitches! I got this to make the Florence blanket pictured on the cover. This is nicely organized and has nice pictures of the stitches.

Great reference guide for crochet stitches. I’m an experienced crocheter, but wanted to add this to my library as a reference book.

Wonderful compilation of crochet stitch patterns. Clear instructions and definitions of special stitches. I would have liked more c2c and edging patterns. Just reading through the book was a joy, and I found the pattern for my next project! Absolutely love it!
