A little awkward to set up. But be sure to close the valve first and place the spike on top of the open water bottle then invert it QUICKLY or else you'll have a watery mess to clean up.

The media could not be loaded. These do work. However the design is a little flawed in my opinion. I understand they did the design this way so multiple size bottle openings could fit but it’s a bit precarious due to the inability to secure the bottle to the drip piece. It does work BUT you need to balance well or have some support depending on the bottle size. I suppose if you were using tiny little water bottles it wouldn’t be an issue but a normal size or larger bottle is just a bit difficult to use. I used an old creamer bottle for one and it does work as long as I have it supported a bit so it doesn’t topple off. I like this size for amount of water it holds.I found the best method was filling the piece with water and then adjusting my drip rate. Once I had the drip rate adjusted I could fill my bottle, place the piece on top, then flip and put into the potted plant. The nozzle is a bit tricky to adjust so you might have to play around with it a bit.Ultimately they do work and the value for the amount is good. You just might not love the way they install and you have to do a little extra to keep secure. Probably wouldn’t buy again but will make this wet work vs returning cause they do function. Just not as user friendly as I’d hoped for.

These do a reasonably good job at a very fair price. It may take a little bit of fussing with the knob to adjust to the rate of of watering required, but once set, it is consistent.

this product is pretty annoying to use. To refill, you have to take the whole stake out of the plant and then put it in the full water bottle then quickly flip it over and put it in place trying not to spill any. It doesn't seal around the bottle opening so it functions more like a funnel with a little dripper. It is very easy to spill water and its not easy to take down/refill/put back. I bought this specifically for plants on a shelf that are hard to reach and its nearly impossible to put the full bottle of water perfectly vertically and back into the pot without spilling water everywhere.

These are so helpful!! I use them to drip water my moss poles. It keeps them moist without flooding the whole thing & makes it so I don’t have to stand there and drip water the poles myself. Saves me a lot of time & makes my plants happier!! I wish there was a clip on the bottom instead of a stake, but that’s nothing a Velcro strip couldn’t fix :)

I bought used to water my plants while I’m out of town for a couple of weeks and did a test run and it took only two hours on almost the tightest setting for the whole water bottle to be leaked into the soil. These don’t work.

These are much bigger than I need. Just know these could easily fit a gallon size bottle in the opening, all the way down to a waterbottle. They are really tall too. Won't be able to fit into any 6" pots or smaller.
